QOTW: How was your Father's Day this year? Any special gifts or surprises for your H?

Cycle Status: More BCPs. Baseline for IVF #2 next Wednesday. I won't believe it's happening until it's here.

QOTW: Father's Day was surprisingly tough this year. I didn't get DH anything but daycare had DD make some gifts so we were covered there.

Status: Went to the surgeon for a follow-up this morning. The implant fell out Saturday afternoon but all is well. He is okay with that since it was in for a full week. He showed me pics of the before/after surgery and where the surgery was in January and it is crazy to see. All the white from Jan is now a nice pink healthy tissue and the one from last week is on its way.

I have a lot of hope it worked, but I haven't seen the RE yet. He usually brings me back from hope after I talk to him...we shall see. I assume I will have a saline sono some time this week and will know more then.

QOTW: DH seemed to have a good day. We went out to breakfast and he loves the gifts L made. Our DAD pics weren't printed properly until our way home from breakfast yesterday, but he loved them and took them into work today.

@Flamingemu that's great news!

AFM: Surgery went well on Friday. I was so sick over the weekend from the anesthesia but am finally feeling better today. The IVF scheduler nurse is supposed to touch base with me about starting my cycle in August at some point this week.

QOTW: I was feeling really crappy over the weekend and DH really picked up the slack. I managed to pull myself together enough go out to breakfast. I planned ahead and got his Father's Day gifts a week ago so that was good!

Cycle Status: CD 7 for my FET. I go in for my E2 bloodwork tomorrow. I'm intimidated by the PIO shots that start next week. The estradiol shots are unfun, but not terrible. I know that PIO is a whole different story. Any tips to pass along are appreciated.

Father's Day: I helped my son pick out a card and small gift for my husband. It's a step-parent relationship that's still growing, so these are important small moments to celebrate our family.

I'm happy there is more to celebrate this week! Boo to being nauseous @Frenchteachermama, but I'm glad you're feeling better and getting ready to start focusing on an August cycle.

@Flamingemu, fingers crossed your RE is positive at your appointment and good news about the healthy tissue.

WOW you guys are all making awesome progress! I am very excited for each of you :-)

Status - Waiting, waiting, waiting

QOTW - Had a nice low key father's day around the house for most of the day. Made breakfast, gave a couple small gifts, and went for a nice walk. Then we had dinner with the Grandpas as well.

@ellebelle2384 I love the presents they make at daycare. They are always so cute!

I have a blood draw Thursday to see if I can start Provera to do some baseline testing. They said I was coming in for baseline last week, knowing I don't have a period, and then said I was in the folliclar phase and past baseline. I think maybe the nurse just called it baseline, but it wasn't the REAL baseline. I am thinking they wanted an idea of what things are like "normally" for me maybe? I have no idea. Anyhow, hoping to start Provera Thursday and then have the real baseline sometime after the weekend of the 4th of July. Then it is the SHG and then waiting till August to start the bcp's and probably will be starting the stims first week of September. I want this baseline over with so I can get my medication list and see about getting some of the meds donated possibly to help cover some of the costs. My parents neighbor had a whole set of IVF meds that she didn't use that I might be able to use some. She was going to check and see which ones are expired and what not. We shall see.....

QOTW: We finished our outdoor patio on Saturday and had some good friends over for a BBQ last night. It was super fun! DH had a great day

Cycle Status: Last BCP on 6/21, waiting for AF to start vivelle patches and hopefully get an earlier FET date.

QOTW: Gave DH a box with all of his favorite snacks and treats, the little ones imprinted their hands in plaster and painted. Made him his favorite supper, steamed ground turkey spring rolls with a side of broiled steak and cheesecake for dessert.

Yay!!! So much happened this week for everyone!!!

love progress when it seems all we do is wait wait wait!

My lining last Wednesday was 11.5!!!!! And e2 was 450 or so, today progesterone was 27!!! And e2 was 630!!!! We are looking good! I can't believe I am two days away. It seemed like it was forever away and now it's here!

Ice for 15 mins ahead of the injection. Slow slow slow. Put the needle in slow, deposit the medicine slow. Massage gently afterward and apply heat to disperse the oil. It hurts more for me after the injection than during, it feels bruised deep in the muscle. I did 1 mL the first two days, and yesterday was my first 2 mL shot, and it hurts more than the other. Good luck!!!

CD 24 of natural cycle

Father's day was nice. We went out to breakfast, went to visit my dad, and then hung out at home the rest of the day.

@fuzzbumble WOW you are almost there, YAYAYAY!!!!!!!!

CTinNV I put the PIO in my bra for about 20 minutes before drawing it up, warming it helps the oil move faster. Then I inject myself by leaning against the bathroom sink and using the mirror, you have to twist a little but it works, use a dart like motion then inject, then rub the injection spot while walking around for about 10 minutes then a heating pad after that.
