What should I do

i know that pelvic pain can be normal. It's preparing for labor. So it is stretching. But if it is severe, should I be relaxing or be working all day?

Re: What should I do

  • It's just so hard to know your specific situation. If I were experiencing severe pelvic pain, I'd call and make an appointment or at least write my doctor a message on MyChart to see what she recommends. If it isn't severe until after an 8-10 hour day, I'd probably figure out a way to sit intermittently throughout the day because perhaps it's just pressure related. I'm sorry you're so uncomfortable. It'll be worth it in the long run, but that doesn't make it any easier now!

  • Have you tried a belly band? I had this same problem with my first pregnancy, I was a teller at a bank and stood all day, by mid afternoon my pelvic area would be on fire and in pain (like a burning feeling almost). As soon as I got my belly band it was completely better at work, but I also got permission to wear sneakers instead of dress shoes. I've been wearing my belly band since the beginning of this pregnancy and only notice any of that pain after cleaning all day at my house and if I'm not wearing the band.

Good luck, hopefully you can find some relief and it gets better.
