it's so easy to complain about all the weird or inappropriate things people do or say while your pregnant but how about the good stuff?

I was leaving Target today had just finished loading my car and was about to bring my cart back when a teenage boy walked up and offered to take it for me. I thought he was going to use it so I thanked him and told him to have a good day but he didn't need it for himself. He just wanted to help me out. He put it away and continued on to the store.

I know it's just a little thing but little things like that make me appreciate the good peeps in the world!

That's the kind of boy I want to raise!

What little kind acts have strangers done for you during pregnancy?

You are so right! It is so easy to point out the negative or bad things especially while pregnant!! The only thing i can think of right now is last week it started pouring rain out of nowhere so I was in the middle of the grocery store parking lot. Didn't run obviously bc I'm pregnant and it feels weird , but this employee was waiting under the covered part with a cart to give me. It was nice. Especially when I was soaked and pissed off. lol

Love this post. When I flew home for my baby shower, the plane had been delayed & everyone was irritated. It was a really small plane so everyone had to check their carry on at the tarmac. When we landed & they brought our bags over, everyone rushed over, so I just took a step back so I wouldn't catch an elbow to the stomach. And this really nice man walked up & asked which bag was mine so he could get it for me. It really made me smile & I haven't forgotten it.

Speaking of taking your cart back…It irritated me the other day that I'm almost at the end of my eight month of pregnancy and I can take my car clear across the parking lot to put it back in the cart corral, but other people don't… Lazy MFers!!

I have a wonderful maid who cooks whatever I'm craving at any time of the day (literally), she's a stay-in maid so she can stop working at 8, the other day I was craving something at 11pm and turned the oven on and started getting everything ready and she came out of her room and told me "is too late, you should rest, I'll cook for you". She even goes to the supermarket when I'm too tiered to do it! She pampers me more than my husband! And she also makes a lot of delicious deserts! I'm so lucky to have her!

And when she knows I have to leave early for whatever reason she wakes up super early to get breakfast ready and snacks to go and everything so I don't have to eat something unhealthy on the street.

I went to Home Depot a few weeks ago to buy a can of primer to work on the nursery and I had 3 or 4 people offer to carry it to my car for me. Other customers and store employees alike. Really threw me for a loop but was much appreciated.

Last pregnancy my husband and I were at Walmart picking our crib up. There was no way we were going to get the box into my Toyota Corolla. He was frantically trying to get a hold of any of his friends that own a truck while I was laughing. Out of no where this older couple pulls up in a big Dodge and offers to follow us back to our home with the crib. Luckily we just live about five minutes away at the time. They wouldn't take payment or anything else we offered. All they wanted was for us to enjoy these early years with each other. They said the struggle in youth is the best part of life.

The other day at Sams they were out of carts in the entryway. I turned around to head back out to the lot to grab one from the cart return and a man who was bringing one in gave his to me and went back for another. It was so hot and I was so tired, I was so thankful!

One of the first times we went out to dinner with our newborn son (now almost four) a couple stopped by our table to tell us congrats and ask how old he was. They were very nice. Later when the check came the waitress said "that couple paid for you". There was a note inside that said "during our first outing with our son, a couple paid for our dinner and we wanted to do the same for you. Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy. We hope you will do the same for another couple one day. "
They were already gone and we didn't get a chance to thank them. But I put the note in his baby book so he would know there are good people in this world.

Hubby and I went to dinner last Saturday and our waitress was pregnant. I used to be a server and I honestly could not imagine doing it while pregnant! We left her a $20 tip and a little good luck note. I know it wasn't a huge deal but it's little things like that that help you get through a shift!

I was on the New Jersey transit towards New York with my husband and the lady was asking everyone to take out there tickets, my husband already has a monthly so he just had to buy one for me, and she saw my big pregnant belly and said " is it time"? I said, "hopefully not". And she laughed and said, "well, if its time just let me know I'll help you deliver" and she refused my husbands money and let me have a free ride

I don't like asking for help or people treating me different but I was grocery shopping and clearly exhausted last week. The clerk started unloading my cart on the belt before I could say anything. I thanked him and thought that was plenty generous, but after the cashier rang me up he got my cart and started pushing it to the parking lot. I thanked him and tried to get him to let me do it but he pushed it all the way to my car AND loaded all my groceries for me, all the while being so pleasant and chatting with me. It was so wonderful and such a big help (we've got heat indexes of 105+ and high humidity,so being outside is exhausting).

Yesterday was garbage day, so hubby took the trash out to the curb in the AM and normally I would pull it back up the driveway later. Well when I went out to run errands, I saw that our can was upright and right next to our garage door, while the rest of the street had cans still upside down on the road. I thought it was so sweet of whoever to bring our can up. I still have no idea who did it, but it was a very nice and appreciated gesture.

I was at a soccer game last night (all sweaty and gross) and a man just walked by and said congratulations and you look beautiful. It was enough to make me tear up.

This last week, at restaurants and grocery stores, random people are asking me how far along I am. Of course, I'm expecting some off the wall comment back. BUT, they're saying "well, you look great!" And "you can't even tell from the back." I give the biggest grin and say "THANKS!"

This morning I stopped on the way to work to grab a biscuit from the drive thru because I was running late...I got up to the window to pay and the worker said the lady in front of you paid for your food and said to have a blessed day! Obviously the person didn't know I was pregnant but it totally made my day!

@Vronyo16 this happened to me in a Starbucks drive thru once... So I paid it forward and did it for someone else... Good karma baby!
