Nipple Pigmentation

Anyone else have a loss of pigmentation in their nipples/ areola? They are a light pink with a brown outer circle around the areola. I was exclusively pumping for 3 weeks before I switched my lo To formula. I did notice that they sometimes turn from white to purple in the shower. I assumed from vasospasm (??). I originally thought it was maybe thrush even though I didn't have any symptoms other than appearance. As a precaution I used lotrimin cream and took a dose of diflucan just in case. They don't itch or hurt. My OB kind of shrugged it off as a part of pregnancy/pp and then told me I could always go to a dermatologist for a 2nd opinion. Who else experienced anything like this?

    On my right breast, about a quarter my areola is gone! It's regular skin color and i completely forgot to ask my doctor at pp visit. I'm also not having any symptoms i tried googling but all i got is thrush as well but like i said no other symptoms. I hope it goes back to normal soon!
