Measuring small (update)

Just went in for another ultrasound to see if my pregnancy progressed and unfortunately it didn't. I will be scheduling my d&c for tomorrow. This will be my second miscarriage this year. Doctor suggested even doing chromosomal testing from the procedure. This is all heartbreaking, to even think I won't have babies in the future. It's been a tough and painful year, but I hope all of you have happy healthy pregnancies. Thanks for all of your support in the last many weeks.

Im so sorry you are going through this. Were you temping to confirm ovulation in addition to the OPK? Also, when did you get your first positive result on a pregnancy test? Its possible to have more than 1 LH surge in a cycle so sometimes unless your temping you cant be sure if you actually ovulated. If you got a positive pregnancy test within 9-14 days of your surge then chances are you should be as far along as you think you are (7ish weeks). If however you didn't get your first positive test until later you could have easily ovulated later than you thought. I hope it all works out. Fingers crossed for you!

I got my BFP exactly 4 weeks ago, on May 28th, (10-12 days after I ovulated according to my opk)

Maybe you had a "late implanter" that just took a little longer to get going? I think only your repeat ultrasound will tell. Best wishes!

I'm in the same boat. US on Tuesday that measured 2 wks behind where I thought I was. I thought I was 8 wks even, but measured 5wk6d. Now I'm in limbo until the next US and levels check. Tuesday cannot come fast enough.

I've got a similar situation. I had a scan at 7 week, but only got yolk sac with no fetal pole. I was so disappointed. Doctor said it measures about 5 weeks. I might not have a viable pregnancy. I'm not sure what to do next, just hoping for a miracle. Hope the best for you!

I'm thinking about you! Hopefully things were just a little later than you thought. Even though you got your BFP 10-12 days after positive OPK, you could have had multiple surges and actually gotten your BFP at 9 DPO. I realize it is unlikely but FX for you.

I am waiting for another ultrasound on July 7th, but I have had no cramping or bleeding, so that's good! Everyday is a celebration. The only pregnancy symptoms I have though is bloating and heart burn. Some days I don't even feel pregnant which freaks me out

I am in a similar situation. With my last period and BFP I should have been between 8-9 weeks. Dating ultrasound shows I'm 6w4d, which would have been impossible to have a positive test when I did. I also have low progesterone. I go back in two weeks to see if there is the correct amount of growth. I will be sending positive vibes your way!

Same here!
My first ultrasound last week was a small two weeks behind. It measured 5 weeks, no heartbeat yet ( i should been 6weeks 5 days calculated on my last period )
Went back today and everything was fine! Measured 6weeks 2 days and there was a fine heartbeat of 160!!
Probably just a late ovulation.
Dont give up hope!

I go in for my ultrasound today!! It's been a long two week wait and I'm hoping to see a little heart beat to make this pregnancy seem real! Wish me luck, I'll keep yall updated!

@kdlinmg1 I am so sorry for your loss. I have had multiple mc's too and had the chromosomal testing done on my last one. It was unexpectedly comforting to know that it was an extra chromosome issue and nothing I had done wrong.
I wish you all the best for future pregnancies. Although I've had 4 mc's, I do have one beautiful healthy boy and hopefully healthy twins on the way. I know not everyone gets a happy ending, but I hope my story helps you know it's possible.
