c-sec moms! recovery/gas pain??

Just switched over to June 2015 as I was due July 10 but she came June 20 at 37 weeks. Healthy and well. I had a c section 4 days ago. Ever since the gas pains have been horrible. Worse than the incision pain. Simethicone isn't doing much. But now (especially after eating) I have this full/tight/ heavy feeling in the chest and throat. It's freaking me out. I'm able to pass gas and bowel movements are normal. But this feeling is uncomfortable and I'm terrified I'm having some crazy complication or something. Anyone else feeling this way??

    Hmm...perhaps it's reflux? I would definitely call your doctor. I'm sure all is well and it's just residual heartburn.

    I had a c section 4 weeks ago... Almost 5 weeks ago. Our baby was born at 36 weeks. I could pass gas but it took me 7 days to have a bowel movement. It was the worst part of everything. I had to go so bad and it wouldn't come out. It was keeping me from peeing. Ultimately I had to use a suppository for things to move. I'm regular now thank god!

    My LO is a week. My gas pains were also worse than the incision, my last night in the hospital i was throwing up (which is terrible with a c section incision, by the way) because I was seriously so full of gas. I also got a suppository and it helped the next morning. When I got home it took me another 5 days to go. Good luck.
