What did/do you mommies use when you can poop. I forgot what softener to use I bought women's laxative from Walmart and wasn't sure it's ok

    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

  • Prune juice, prunes. I buy cereal thats very high in fiber. A friend of mine used bowel buddy cookies

    What works for me is a little coffee. It always does the trick. If you're not having caffeine, make sure you drink plenty of water.

    Have you tried the natural route first?  Fruits, veggies, foods high in fiber, lots of water?  

    I have a small kale/fruit smoothie each morning and I haven't had any issues yet.

    The coffee trick works for me.  I started off avoiding it because caffeine dehydrates.  After about two months all i wanted was coffee and when i finally gave in and had a cup - it was amazing.  Best poop ever.  
  • Milk of magnesia works great and my doctor said it was fine.
  • ^^ works wonders just make sure you are near a bathroom!!
  • I have had two things I've integrated in my diet that have helped..Benefibre and All bran cereal topped with a ripe banana. Even a cup of tea!! I was so badly backed up that I was using the bathroom every 4 DAYS and by day 4 almost in tears so uncomfortable. Now it's a lot more regular:)
  • Raisin Nut Bran
  • Colace and magnesium! Both doc recommended. What really helped me also was green juice!!
  • Oatmeal works wonders and is yummy with a bit of cream and brown sugar
