Join Secret Facebook Group Feb. 2016 Baby Bumps

Hi! I just had a baby in February 2015. She's 4 months now and we just found out we are pregnant again and due February 2016!

I'm part of a Facebook February 2015 Baby Bump Secret Group and its amazing! We connected during our pregnancies and now as our babies grow! It's been amazing to connect with other women across the world going through the sane thing I am!

I can start a February 2016 Baby Bump Group!

Would any of you be interested?

    I'd join now (as long as it was secret). But it seemed to majority here in the previous thread said they preferred to wait.

    I'd join. I am in a pGAL FB group, PAL FB group, and June 2012 FB group, and have been for over 3 years now. They're great, and it's so much easier to connect (in my opinion).

    Definitely too early for me. There's another thread about this where many said they would prefer to wait until after the first trimester in case of m/c.

    I agree with PPs, it's too early to be giving a bunch of internet strangers my real name in a FB group. Maybe after we're all through 1st tri.

    I'm in. The sooner the better. In my Nov. 12 group, we started a secret group, left it open for any bumpie to join through the date that everyone would be safely in the 2nd trimester, like 16 weeks or so, and then we closed the group. The Nov. 12 group bonded through the whole pregnancy, newborns, and now our toddlers. It'd be weird to have a new person pop in at this point. I find FB so much easier to manage, and keep track of names rather than usernames.

    I definitely would not join before 3rd tri. I appreciate that it is easier for some to connect, use, etc but it's just way too early for me. I think the previous thread on this subject provided some stories that really highlighted the reason to be cautious in this area.

    Not interested right now. Would prefer to wait until later and would feel more comfortable if a regular started this, as PP have said.

    On my old group we waited until we wEre all closer to our Edd. Weeded out the non regs more because Facebook is not anonymous at all! I prefer to wait

    Yup I'd be interested as long as it's a secret group. I am in one for my March 2013 group, and it's much easier to manage Facebook than this weird clunky bump forum.

    In Sep 13, the first FB group that was started pulled in a bunch of people (I was not one of them) and by third tri most of them rarely if ever posted on TB anymore. It was like two completely separate BMBs.

    The group we started at the end of third tri, on the other hand, was all regs and it was awesome. We all knew each other, we knew who was crazy, and we felt more comfortable sharing private info. I still connect with those ladies daily.

    Same here. The first June 14 FB group is a crazy shit show. The second one (and then a third one) were started after babies started being born. I'm visiting the latter two groups multiple times a day, but we all know each other pretty well at this point. I don't want people having my real name until I know they aren't crazy.

    I like the idea of a secret Facebook group as it is easier to manage and I get notifications. But I agree, I wouldn't join until later. There's a chance of loss, crazies and not really knowing each other.
