Helpppppp!!!! Wind issues

we had no wind issues until formula was introduced because of LO not gaining weight, we have removed formula and now have a baby that won't sleep because of wind pain unless she's on my chest .

I've used infants friend, infacol and have spent the last 3 hours burping her with no success at all. Her belly is so bloated. How do I get the wind out? We are now on day 2 with me no sleep and only had 2 meals since yday morning because she just screams the house down.

  • You could try doing some bicycle exercises with her legs and see if she passes gass, hope she feels better soon!

This, but I'd also call the dr. for ideas/help and peace of mind.

I would suggest swaddling tight and putting her on the breast. Whether she eats or not won't necessarily matter, if she's sucking and at least swallowing some, she can move that gas bubble on her own from her digestive system starting up.

Also, if she won't latch, you try expressing some milk and using a syringe or spoon to get some into her. Breast milk has natural laxative qualities.

Edited because I lost my train of thought
