I finally sorted out my insurance mess and called my OB/GYN to schedule my first appointment since about 6.5 weeks and the earliest appointment they have is a week from now.
There are 8 OB's in the practice so honestly it threw me off a little for there to be a week long wait just for an appointment, especially when it will be going on 8 weeks since my last visit.
Is that a normal wait or should I possibly try to find a different office? I'm a first time mom so I have no idea what's standard in OB/GYN world but I'm totally used to being able to call my primary doctor and have an appointment the same day or next day at the latest so I was definitely expecting earlier than next week. I can't help but be anxious to make sure everything is still progressing well so a week sounds like forever in my pregnancy brain haha.
