Father/son bonding

Last night DH was rubbing my belly, and said the baby responds to him. I hadn't even noticed, but he's right! When DH rubs or jiggles my belly a little, a second or two later, we'll get a kick. It's incredible! He's not just kicking anymore. He's actually reacting. It feels like another milestone reminding me there's not just a "thing" in there, it's a real, live little boy. I'm in awe!

    That is such an amazing feeling! We thought this baby was a girl because of the reactions to Daddy. Found out yesterday it's a boy so now we know it's father son bonding. He goes crazy when he hears Daddy, if I'm on my way home and I talked about him already being home, around the time he usually gets home from work, or if daddy lays his head on my belly. It's so sweet to realize their attachment so early!
