  It's not unusual for babies to go a few days without a bowel movement. My first LO went about 4 days without a BM at about that age. But almost a week might be pushing it. You should call your pediatrician to get their opinion.

  Mine did the same at about 7 wks - went from several BMs a day to going a week, then every 4-7 days. Dr says it's totally normal for breastfed babies.

  Our Dr said even two weeks is okay if breastfed

  My DD hadn't had one for 9 days and I was getting worried even though she seemed fine, but then tonight she finally did.

  My pediatrician said this is normal for exclusively breastfed babies.

  My ped told me babies can go up to 28 days!! The insanity!
