IUI #1 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
IUI #2 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
IUI #3 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
IVF #1, Stimmed for 12 days, ER 8/22/14, 9 retrieved, 7M, 7F!!  Freeze all due to fluid in uterus.
FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN

  • 1.  I did a MUCH better job with my wine consumption last week!  

    2.  I ate like shit all weekend because I was feeling so nauseous from the anesthesia so all I ate was carbs carbs carbs.

    3.  I can't exercise much this week so my plan is to try to stick to healthy eating as much as possible.  We're going to NYC this weekend to meet my new niece and I know I'm going to over indulge there!

    QOTW:  I've been struggling with this recently.  I need to find something for myself that helps me de-stress that isn't exercise.  I love reading!

  • 1.  I am proud that I am starting to get healthy again. It's always a work in progress but I really feel committed to it this time. Plus I have recruited my sister to get healthy with me which is great!

    2.  Healthy eating. I have been cheating on my diet way to much lately. This also has to change. 

    3.  I am starting the 21 day fix today. I hope to finally complete the 21 days this time and drop a little weight before my doctors appts start again. 

    QOTW:  I drink tea. I love tea and a cup before bed really helps me relax. 
  • 1.  I am proud that I have lost weight every week since mid March.  That is an accomplishment. I am down about 38 lbs now.  Eight more to go to a healthy BMI.  I figure since I won't be able to do a FET until November if I do a freeze all in September, that I have until then to lose some more, so I am aiming for about another 15 lbs by then. 

    2.  I did pretty good this past week, but I would work on less M&M's from the candy jar at work.  I just have one here and there during the day while I am at work for a few hours, but they add up to about 90 calories a day that I don't need.  I should cut down on the booze on the weekends, but I am not sure I am going to give up Corona Lights during the summer :) 

    3.  My plan has been work out 45 min a day 5-6 days a week, use My Fitness Pal and track my calories and those calories need to be used by low carb stuff (No break, pasta, rice, etc).  I do have a few cheat meals on the weekends and some wine or beer.

  • Late to the check-in but last week was another off the wagon week for me.  But starting yesterday I synched my FitBit to MyFitnessPal so I am tracking calories and exercise.  I'm struggling to fit working out into my work week but I'm hoping if I can keep meeting my step goal and hitting my calorie goal and adding more protein into my diet I'll head in the right direction.

    QOTW: I am struggling with this right now.  I spend time with our pup or read usually.  I need to spoil the pup more though. :)

  • Hey, yo, hi there. I am not quite ready to regularly post here again, but I have rejoined the land of giving a shit about my body. I have packed breakfast & lunch (so far) this week and had dinner at home. I am ready to reign it in and start back in weight loss mode. I still have a week or so before I can resume exercise, but I plan to keep my eating in check until then. Then I will start the 21 day fix, thinking of throwing the 3 day refresh at the end of it to keep it up. So, will you have me back?

    Of course!  What is this 21 day fix everyone keeps talking about?  Can I have wine with it?

    I was thinking of doing the 3 day refresh too. My friend just did it and had wonderful results
  • @Frenchteachermama it's a beachbody program. It's dvd workouts and an eating plan with different colored containers to help see how much of a certain food to eat a day. I am really enjoying the workouts so far. In fact, I just signed up to be a coach but that is mainly so I get a discount on the shakeology shakes. They are delicious. Let me know if you want more info I can send you a link.

    Also, I think you are allowed a glass of wine, just not a bottle like we all would like to drink ;-)
