Umbilical cord fell off and...

Does this look normal to you guys? The cord fell off and there is just a little bit of blood, mucus and little scab. Is there anything your dr's told you to do with it at this point?

    My LO had the same thing! I just put rubbing alcohol on a q-tip and cleaned it twice a day. It dried up and looked great in about a week!

    This is definitely normal. Don't worry! My LO has the same things. Just gently dab it with cotton swabs and keep it clean.

    So keeping it clean means using rubbing alcohol and dabbing it with a little or does it mean just not putting anything on around it?
