Hey, I haven't been on this board in ages and it looks pretty dead...but I've been curious about this as well so here's what our schedule is like most of the time.

    6:30am wake up/nurse
7:30am breakfast - usually 1/4 cup of some kind of baby cereal and one whole banana
    10:30am nurse
11:30am lunch - usually 2-3 ounces of fruit, and 2-3 ounces of veggies
    1:30pm nurse
    4:30pm nurse
5:30pm dinner - usually 2-3 ounces of a veggie or fruit, and then a couple ounces of a protein/veggie mix. We just introduced chicken.
    7:30pm nurse and bed

I will say though, depending on naps she may only end up nursing 4 times a day instead of 5. She also doesn't nurse nearly as long as she used to so I don't think she's drinking as much milk as she was a couple months ago. I hardly bottle feed (the pump is not my friend) so I really have no clue how many ounces she typically takes in. At this point she is way more interested in solid foods.

All this being said, I plan on asking her doc at her 9 month appointment next week if this is all normal. I feel like she's a little piggy who would eat her solid food forever if I let her!

Thanks for sharing. I agree, this board seems quiet. I wonder why. I can imagine it must be hard to track amount of bm when nursing. My DD's schedule is similar to yours, except I ff.  My dr. didnt give me too much advice on a schedule at 9 mos. appt last week. It was moreso, feed 3 meals a day and no more than 24 oz.

I'm amazed by how well your LO's are eating real food - my little piggy still drinks 5 bottles with 7 oz formula. He has 1-2 4 oz baby food containers each day. He still can't pick up food or snacks well and spits out anything with texture, so still mostly on bottles. Is it time to introduce water in sippy cup? Haven't done that yet.

My DD does well with water in sippy cup. We have the Nuby kind with handles so I think that makes it easy for her to hold. 4 oz containers of food seems great. I think DD is only eating about 2 oz. 2x a day.

My DD is 8 1/2 months and has 3 meals a day (mixture of solid finger foods and thick puréed baby food. She is really showing disdain for baby food and prefers to have regular food so we let her self feed her finger foods (small and soft pieces) while we give baby food. We introduced water at 6 months (a few oz. a day) via sippy cup. She now uses the straw trainer Tomee Tippie cup.

She nurses short intervals and less frequently now during the day. She will always nurse before bed and first thing in the morning, and I let her tell me when she wants to nurse during the day (she grabs my shirt, nuzzles etc).

She also wakes up at 6:30am usually, has a nap around 9am and then around 2pm, then goes to bed around 7:30pm.

How many teeth does everyone's LO's have? DD has 2 top/2 bottom.

Only 2 bottom teeth so far! Does that affect their interest in solids?

I definitely noticed that baby was able to expand her repertoire of solids once the additional too teeth came in. Thicker food too!

My LO had the 9 month check today. He's doing amazing. He still BF quite frequently and uses me to fall asleep at nap times (particularly in the morning) he sleeps 6.45 until 5.30am and has one to two feeds in the night. He is very active so I have been advised that he should have 3 meals and 2 snacks a day now and plenty of carbs.

I was also told to try reduce his BF to 4 time in 24 hrs by 10 months and 3 by 11 months and then hopefully just 2 when I go back to work.

He has finger food and mushed food but it often depends on his mood if he will eat much finger food.

My routine is quite relaxed (save for bed time) but he often has two shorter naps in the morning but occasionally one long one.
