Placental lakes???

My ob called today informing me that I have placental lakes and that I would need another growth scan in a couple of weeks to check the growth of the baby. I am 21 weeks. Has anyone else had experience with placental lakes??

    I have them, but they are a small enough percentage of my placenta that my OB and I are not worried. They are super common and most people don't know they have them. You'll likely just have one extra scan to ensure that they are not growing and baby is getting all that he/she needs.
