HELP MY BOOBS HURT

Just had my daughter last week & I've been breastfeeding. She eats every 3-4 hours for about 10 minutes. about an hour after my breasts will become super hard, painful, and start to throb. It's so painful I'm in tears. She will eat off of one side, then that side is okay and the other side throbs and is so painful. Within that hour they both get that way again. The pain won't go away. I tried to pump and it works, the swelling and hardness goes away but only for about an hour. PLEASE HELP

    Just get through the first 10-14 days and your body will know how much milk to produce. Sorry that is my best advice. And only pump or hand express until you have relief. Also alternate starting breast each time little one eats and offer both breasts every feeding.
