Everyone introduce yourselves!

Re: Everyone introduce yourselves!

  • Hi, I'm pregnant with my first. I was pregnant before but had a miscarriage about 3 months ago at week 8 when I was expecting twins. I was able to become pregnant right away, which helped a ton with the depression I felt from loosing my first. Both pregnancies we were trying for. I've been married since August but I have been with my husband for nearly 10 years as friends/partners. I'm excited to have this forum to read other Moms insights, experiences, and possibly post my own questions/concerns!

  • Hey everyone,
I'm Autumn Love. From Iowa and Illinois. I'm 21 years old and this is my 2nd pregnancy ( first one ended in a miscarriage) . fingers cross this time it will be healthy.
  • Hello
I am Christine from Colorado. I am 23. This is my second pregnancy. First one ended in a MMC of twins at 10 weeks with a D&C three weeks later. It has been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster the last two months for my other half and I. We both work as paramedics and are currently looking to buy a house (supposed to stay stress free during pregnancy right). Either way I am very nervous about the next couple months and am praying for the best. Oh! one more thing! From my calculations my due date 2/27 the day before my birthday! And I hate how prenatal vitamins make me nauseous. Didn't have morning sickness the first time around but extremely nauseated after the vitamins! Look forward to getting to know you all!

My name is Evelina I am 21 years old have been with boyfriend for almost 7years. I have two children a daughter four and a son 2 1/2. I am almost 8 weeks with my third! My daughter was born at 39 weeks emergency csection placenta was falling from wall she was fine as well as myself. My son was born March2013 extremely premature of 23 weeks and 5 days. He was in hospital for 5 months came home for five days and aspirated to his lungs. Was rehospitalized for an additional 3 months and has been home since . The journey we went threw with my son was hard and really scary I'm thankful for the family and friends with us and of course all the things the doctors did to help him threw the bad to make his life better. We are so thankful that he only has problems with his lungs and with eating but so many more things could of went wrong he is truly a miracle baby. I am nervous about this pregnancy it was unexpected but every baby is a blessing. My son was only given a 10percent chance of living and higher chances of having so many problems. He beat ALL the odds and he is crazy has been walking now for three months as well as taking diaper off very stubborn but most handsome smile along with butt chin lol. So we only hope for the best with are third on the way.

Hello everyone! This is my first pregnancy, I'm due February 12th. My birthday is on the 9th, so we will see if we share birthdays or not! My names lindsay, I live in nebraska and I am 24. I'm in a very loving and caring relationship. We wanted kids and know we will get married sometime, just doing it a little bit differently. Which has been very hard on some of my family, which in return kinda makes it hard to be excited all the time about this miracle growing inside me. I workout 6 days a week but have slowly found myself going to 4 because the lack of energy is crazy!!! The bump has been my the best thing I have found, reading and sharing everything with women in the current steps as me has helped me out a lot to just relax and enjoy every nauseous moment and tired moments when a movie sounds better than the gym!

Hi! Same here with the baby before marriage and the family reaction. But I am excited anyway because I know--just like you--we're getting married soon and I'm having a little person! Congrats!!

I can't see my MD until I'm 8 weeks... :(. I'm a nervous wreck, but ecstatic!

    Hi everyone!
I'm 25. My husband and I have been married 8 months, but together 7 years total. We just moved to Texas and conceived as soon as we arrived (there's something in the water...). This is our 1st child and I'm due 2/23. We're excited and nervous, but can't wait for the road ahead!
  • I have been waiting to make my introduction. I am 29 (and will be 30 on Monday). This is my third pregnancy but we have no living children. Both losses were very early (5ish weeks). But I am going to be 6 weeks tomorrow and hcgs keep rising (today was 6,893!!!). Now that I feel more confident that this is heading in a good direction I figured it was time to join in!

This pregnancy was somewhat of a surprise. We were on our fifth cycle TTC after the second loss (after taking a few months off) and we were both feeling frustrated. I went in to talk to my OB (at day 21 of my cycle) and they did a blood draw. My progesterone was a 7 which they told me meant I didn't ovulate. I set an appointment two weeks later to talk with him about starting progesterone to force ovulation. The morning of my appointment my period was two days late so I decided to take a pregnancy test and what do you know - pregnant!

I was out of town all last week for work so I couldn't get blood draws that whole time. My first hcg at 4w1d was 169 and they started me on Prometrium. Two days later it was at 236. And over a week later (5w5d) we are almost at 7,000! We have not gotten this far into a pregnancy before so we are over the moon.

I am looking forward to being part of this community for what is hopefully a happy and healthy nine months!

I'm Amy. I'm 27 and this will be my second LO (due February 25). I've got a 6 month old boy who is amazing. We plan on having 4 kids, and are super excited about the age difference and having 2U2. We also have two dogs, a golden retriever and flat-coated retriever. They are incredible with the baby.
I mostly lurked during my last pregnancy because I felt I didn't have too much to offer in the way of answers for a lot of questions, but I'd like to participate more this time around! Congratulations to all of you!
  • hello, my name is Tiffany and I'm 34. This is my 3rd pregnancy.  It was a huge surprise.  Me and dh have 5 kids already (3 of them were his from a previous relationship and 1 of them is mine from a previous marriage). Dh is 37.  We both feel old and overwhelmed.  lol.

This is a huge board!  This will be fun...
  • Hey all! I'm jumping in from the January board as I could go either way. My ultrasound out me today at 8+1 so EDD is Feb 1st, but baby is measuring at 8+4, and I did ovulate earlier on cd10 so baby is right on the dot! I'm 29 years old and been with my husband for 12 years :-).

I am high risk with a fibroid that is continuing to grow (currently 11cm) and Hashimotos Disease. But keeping a positive mindset and healthy lifestyle!

    Happy and healthy pregnancies everyone!

  • Hiya! My name is Cait, I'm 24 yo and my husband is 30, and live in the beautiful 406 (MT). Next week is our one year anniversary!! Wohoo! We both work shift work, and have crazy lives. In April we decided there will never be a perfect time, so I stopped my birth control, and started trying.. Well in mid May I felt different, took four tests around when I thought my missed period was, but were all negative. On June 2nd I tested again, and POSITIVE!! Our first ultra sound was on the 16th, and looks like we have an eta of February 8th! Just praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby!
  • Hi everyone,

I'm in the Midwest, but originally from SoCal. I'm 35 and hubby and I have been together for 10 years. Wow, I feel old.

Anyway, we have a beautiful almost 3 year-old. He had an awful accident at daycare when he was 15 months old and has some special needs. We're also bilingual, so there's that. Anyway, we weren't planning on number 2 for a couple of more months, but here we are.

Now to figure out how the bump works again...

  • Hi I'm April and I'm 42 years old. I have 4 children. They are 16, 14, and twins who are 12. I've had years of fertility issues and was required to use various methods to get pregnant for each pregnancy. After a divorce and a new guy who has 2 children 10 and 11 we are pregnant with our 7th. Meanwhile while I was on the pill. I'm blown away but excited. I'm concerned about my age. Any other moms in their 40's or any suggestions on how to break the news to the kids. I hope they handle it well.

  • Hi everyone! I'm 28 and my husband is 31. We live in Massachusetts. We've been married for a year, and together for 4 years. We have two beautiful dogs that I love very much, a Keeshond and a German Shepherd mix. This is our first pregnancy and it was a bit of a surprise! We are very excited/happy/nervous. I work with animals at a shelter and will have to tell my coworkers the news soon! My first prenatal appointment is on July 1st and I can't wait. My EDD (first time using bump lingo!) is February 2nd. Have a great day everybody!!!
  • Hi I'm Cristina I'm 26 and this is my first pregnancy I am super nervous and super excited. I live in sunny Florida and work in the service industry and my boyfriend is a chef. We are due February 25 so a long and wonderful journey is ahead of us.
  • Hi I'm Anna! I'm 31 and the hubby is 32. We have been together for 14 years and married for almost 6 years. We are from Philly but moved to San Diego last year because of my husbands job. He is a lawyer in the Navy and I work in pharmaceutical research. We started TTC in June 2014 and experienced a loss in Oct 2014. Now I'm due Feb 19th and I'm so excited but full of anxiety! Looking forward to meeting everyone!
  • I introduced myself earlier and I just had my first OB appointment yesterday. I thought my due date was earlier but it is now 2/15/16. I ovulated later and got pregnant so I didn't realize it. It's better I ovulated later than I thought since in early May I had foot surgery and my mom and I were worried that if I had pain meds in my system if it would effect anything but by the time I conceived it was all out of my body which is great! I heard the little heartbeat, omg and only at 6 weeks! holy moly I found out early I was pregnant but crazy to hear the heartbeat at 6 weeks 2 days (yesterday).

I love hearing everybody's stories on here, glad we all are blessed with little peanuts and hopefully no births in snow storms for those ladies living in cold climates in Feb. I don't want to deal with snow.
