You said she eats and sleeps for part of it so I'm assuming you plan the drive around nap time? When we go to my inlaws (4 hours each way) we leave about 45 minutes before nap time. She plays for a while then sleeps for her regular nap (a lot of times she'll sleep longer in the car then her regular nap at home), then is awake for a while before we arrive. The nap breaking up the drive (instead of right at the beginning or end) seems to help.

If you do this drive regularly she will get used to it eventually.
