Still looking for someone to take over the weekly check-in thread. Went to the doc today and they will likely induce or schedule a c-section at 39 weeks, which is two weeks from tomorrow. Please let me know if anyone wants to do it. It isn't difficult.

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby?

2. Age at delivery?

3. Any other children or fur babies?

4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?

40+4. I've beend saying 6/18, I've been wrong, it was 6/16. Baby size

2 kitties, both of which are snuggling in bed with me right now

4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?
Lots of pressure down there. Lots. Feeling large and not in charge.

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?
After my appt this week I was allowed to wait thru the weekend in hopes I will go into labor naturally and maybe get my solstice baby. Induction has been officially scheduled for 6/23, first thing in the am.

QOTW: What's one physical trait you hope baby inherits from you? From your SO? Likewise, what's one thing you hope they don't inherit?

From me - my hair. I have lots of hair. Not really long (tho I am always trying to grow it really long), but thick, and usually healthy if I bother to take care of it. Second choice would be my nose. Its better than DH's nose. From DH - his eyes. Not freakishly blue but light blue or gray depending on what he wears, his emotions.

I hope they do not get DHs nose, I mentioned that. From me... Hmm. Well, I'm perfect, so that question is invalid

Its hard to choose because some things may be terrible for a girl but good for a boy, and we are team green. It took me a few, but I thought of something - my teeth. I had to have braces and correct the positioning of my jaw when I was 10-14. AND my dads side of the family just has poor teeth, I get cavities easily, etc. DH has generally good teeth, one or two are crooked but nothing that needs correcting, and he has only ever had maybe 3 cavities despite having not ever been to the dentist until he was in his mid 20s

39 weeks plus. Due this week. "abnormally large fetus" according to my charts! oh well I don't do them any other way

Not too bad. Normal end of pregnancy aches and pains etc but I am used to it and not overly bothered by it. Just staying busy to avoid feeling like I am waiting for nothing to happen

Weekly appointments. No reason so far to believe I will have to be induced before it seems baby it starting to suffer.

Rant: So mad I still don't have a stove. The company (ordered off Amazon) keeps delaying. We did get a free 10 year warranty out of it but still its been a bit ridiculous. It is suppose to be delivered tomorrow between 5 am and 8 am...truly who delivers at 5 am????

Rave: Still not feeling overly anxious about when I will deliver. A bit worried as I have like no Braxton Hicks or any other signs I will give birth any time soon. But definately just concentrating on enjoying my last pregnant day.

So far 5 out of the 7 have my super blue eyes which everyone always fusses over. I hope this one gets them too. I hope he doesn't get my weak teeth. My teeth look good and I never needed braces but I have a bundle of money into them because they do crack and chip and get cavities so easy. My last child had enamel issues when her teeth were coming in and she had $15,000 worth of dental done to her when she had just turned a year old. I sort of feel it was probably my fault...inherited from my side of the family. DOn't want to have to do that again!

Now my husband never flosses, brushes quickly etc and never gets caviities etc. Hopefully baby will have those teeth! I would really like to have one very dark haired baby too. I am blonde and all mine are either blonde or pretty light brown. Husband has dark dark like black hair. I always liked babies with super dark hair and just thought that would be dominate in our case...but my genes are super dominate and we end up with fair blue eyed blondes all the time!!

@cneiding ... can't believe you are still stoveless! That has to be frustrating.

Three kitties, who continue to be soooo happy in the new house. I have kept the nursery door closed (haven't done anything in there yet, but will this week) and all three kitties just are so curious about what is going on in there, lol.
4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?
Up and down. Did a ton of weeding yesterday in the AZ heat, which wore me out. Went to the Diamondbacks baseball game today, and the heat and walking really didn't help. Came home and slept for 2.5 hours. Feel like I could go back to bed at any moment. The backs of my thighs are very sore. I really can't complain much, though. I feel like the pregnancy hasn't been too awful hard on me.

Tuesdays and Fridays from here on out. No real rants or raves.
QOTW: What's one physical trait you hope baby inherits from you? From your SO? Likewise, what's one thing you hope they don't inherit? Neither one of us likes our nose, so we hope she'll get some hybrid that does not suck.

I, too, have tough teeth (deep pitted, my dentist said), which is why I get cavitities. We both have good hair, so hopefully she will, too. I am kinda short (5'3") and hippy (not in the "peace and love" sense, lol) so I hope she is a little taller and built like dad.

I wish I could take over for you but I'm just horrible at keeping up with things these days, I know I wouldn't be able to do it consistently.

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby? Almost 26 weeks! Head of lettuce, HA! Oct 1

2. Age at delivery? 43

3. Any other children or fur babies? DS 2 and 3 cats, it's starting to feel really crowded in our home.

4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc? Feeling ok, the heat is really getting to me lately which is kind of a bummer. I want to do stuff outside with DS but i'm finding it hard to stay outside too long.

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves? Appt this week and GD testing.. FUN! I can't believe I have a little more than 12 weeks to go, time to kick things into high gear!

Hmmmmm, DS has the whitest blonde curly thick hair, which both DH and I had when we were little, but DH didn't have curls. I really hope DD gets my baby hair and curls too! I hate to be greedy but DS has my blue eyes also, I wouldn't mind DD getting them as well..haha.. Definitely would like them to have DH's sense of adventure, I tend to be more of a worry wart when trying new things..

I had hormonal acne when I was a teenager through my 20's. I really really hope they don't inherit that. DH never had any issues so let's hope they get that from him. I also have shitty teeth, very porous or pitted like jerseygirl mentioned, I have a horrible time with cavities no matter how much I do to prevent them.. uggg..

@sidey1 ... I totally understand about the heat. Ugh. Only supposed to be 107 in AZ today, lol. The heat usually doesn't bother me much; but, yeah, the heat combined with being preggo is tough.

I can't believe so many of you are due so soon! I've been following for 8 weeks now and time has flown by. Missed the last couple weeks due to our big move across country (starting our drive in the morning while @mellymar is having her baby!)

4. Morning sickness and weight gain has me feeling down but it's slowly getting better ... Feel horrible 1 day then feel ok for 2.

5. Had the cell free DNA test done and everything looks great according to the genetic counselor! And we're having a boy

Hmmmm .... My hair. Thick & lots of it. DS definitely got my hair DD is nice too. DH's eyes & teeth ... Pretty green eyes run in his fam & although he was a smoker he has the nicest whitest teeth! DHs emotions ... ADHD runs in my fam and although I have learned to love my quirks and special traits )and my DS's) that come along w/ it ... I do think life would be a little easier w/o it
