XP BF and TTC

DD is almost 16 months and we've been TTC for #2 since September I'm still breastfeeding and AF hasn't returned yet either which I know is typical for breastfeeding mamas. I've had no signs of AF returning so I stopped temping in February and figured I'd just let things happen. Today I noticed discharge that was brown tinged, but also egg white consistency. I know brown is old blood but I was curious to see if this is fairly common with getting your first postpartum period? I haven't had any spotting like this whatsoever before so I'm hoping its a sign I'm getting my cycles back finally...any similar experiences?

    Also, for other ebf moms ttc... Is temping even worth it? Bub still wakes in the night to feed.

    I had to night wean DS1 to start ovulating again. I got pg w DS2 before I got my period back, tho. With DS2, I had to again cut back more before I got my period. I honestly don't remember how my first period back started, just that it was v v heavy!

    How often are you nursing? I would start dropping a session at a time and see if that triggers it. DS1 was 20 months when I finally ovulated, and DS2 was about the same when I got my period back.

    I got my 1st pp period by the time DS was 2 months (sigh). It was a little brown for a day or two then red. I thought maybe I was bleeding again pp, but it was my period and has come every 26-28 days since. My boys have slept through the night (7+ hours around 4 weeks old) so I think that's why I get AF back so quickly.

    @nosoup4u she still nurses throughout the night, off and on for about an hour in the morning and then right around her two nap times so at least 3 during the day and the night varies. I stopped temping because my temps were all over the place. Friday is when I had spotting, nothing Saturday, and a little bit more on Sunday morning. I was crampy and nauseas all day as well so I definitely think my hormones are out of whack.
