Twelve week today and u/s proved loss

Well, my nightmare is now reality. Second time we've miscarried at twelve weeks in two years. Ovaries and uterus are "perfect" says the dr. My DH is devastated as am I. Along with embarrassed to tell the family....

Dr took blood today to check. She said she "saw something" and I go back tomorrow. On the u/s it looks like nothing and that my body lost naturally. Could it be possible that when I was bleeding two weeks ago and it was just pushed aside by old dr that we miscarried and then got pregnant again and that is the "something" she sees???

Please help me. I'm desperate.

    I am so, so sorry for your loss.  Regarding your question, did the doctor give you any detail of what she thought she saw? Since 12 weeks is pretty far along for a miscarriage, usually there would be a definite fetus in there.  Did you have any prior ultrasounds?

    Okay so three weeks ago I had a huge mass of blood come out and then a few spotting incidents and the prior dr I saw just said it was fine and ran blood work and HCG levels were still high on the same day. He didn't order an u/s or anything and with our insurance I wasn't able to get to another dr until yesterday. This one I just went to said that the mass was the baby and my uterus is good. So I guess technically the miscarriage happened at 9 weeks but I was still having preg symptoms and all. It's just a lot to take in. I go back in a few hours to see what's up. So I will keep tall updated. Thank you for all the support!

    I'm sorry you're having to go through that! It's frustrating that you weren't able to get as many answers as you needed due to insurance. It sounds like you probably did miscarry 3 weeks ago. With my second miscarriage, I had A LOT of bleeding, but my doctor called me the next day and said my bloodwork showed my pregnancy was fine. I kept bleeding and had an ultrasound, which showed a heartbeat.  Then I bled even more and went in a few days later for yet another ultrasound, which showed that there wasn't a heartbeat.  So I feel like a miscarriage can be in progress even in the initial blood tests are ok.  Ugh, this is just the worst! I've had 2 miscarriages as well and know how upsetting it is :(

    UPDATE:
    Confirmed miscarriage at 9 weeks. No need for any procedures but rest and good to go on ttc again ASAP. Hubby has decided that we need a rainbow baby and that it will happen when God wills. This board is keeping me sane. Thank yall for listening. It really helps!

    Thank you all for being here for support! Sorry I've been Mia for a week. Things have definitely improved as we celebrated his first Father's Day today with our baby angel in mind.
