Early labor,, magnesium

So Im 31 weeks and my water broke at work

went to the hospital and was dialated at a 1 with contractions every 2 to 4 minutes. They now have me on hospital bed rest until he is born. I was given magnesium to stop the contractions I'm on my third bag now. I was just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation and if so how long after being off magnesium did the contractions start again? I'm just scared they're gonna start as soon as they take me off!

I went into labor at 23w2d with my twins and was put on magnesium. I was actually overdosed on it because the ambulance gave me a bag on the way to the hospital, and the hospital gave me another as soon as I got there. It was the absolute worst stuff I've ever been on! It was August and I was literally lying in bed with hardly anything on, sweating my tail off and throwing up and could barely even lift my fingers off the bed, while everyone else in the room with me had winter coats on. I just couldn't cool off! I also had to have blood drawn every four hours to make sure my levels were staying In check. My experience with it wasn't great. It did keep me from going into labor for five days, but I was actually still being pumped full of it while I was delivering the boys. I'm not going to say it didn't work, because it did its job to get me to that critical 24 week mark. I just have to believe that they were just meant to come early, no matter what. I had it at 24, maybe 25 weeks with my first when I first went into labour. I went into early labour two other times within the next 3ish weeks and had him at 28 weeks.
