False negative pregnancy test?

Hi everyone,

I've taken 3 home pregnancy tests within a 4 (6/5, 6/7, 6/8) day span and all have tested positive. I have symptoms of pregnancy (ie: currently 12 days late on my period, tender breasts, aversions to foods, etc). But I just received news from my GP that the results of my blood test taken on June 11 show that I am not pregnant. How is this possible? Could I have received a false negative blood test?

    Unfortunately this sounds like a chemical pregnancy. I'm so sorry.

    Lurker here - have you POAS since the blood test?? What color tests were they pink or blue dye? Blue ones can give evaporation lines that look like positives. Unfortunately, it could also be a CP (if those were true positives and now a negative)

    Pink dye tests can also have evap lines, FWIW.

    OP, contact your OB and ask them what the next step is, if any. If it does turn out to be a CP, I'm very sorry.

    My mother when she was pregnant with her first(my sister) missed a period, had an ultrasound done, blood work, all negative.. 2 months later went to have her surgery on her knee and she was almost 4 months pregnant ! This was also like 35 years ago...

    Sorry to say but it could be a missed miscarriage or chemical pregnancy..
