  At my followup, my doctor just asked about bleeding, cramping, etc. Based on my responses and that I had already gotten a negative hpt showing my levels had dropped, no pelvic exam or blood draw was necessary. However, a girl I work with that has the same doctor, had a d&c a week after me (weird right?) and they did blood draws a few days apart because her levels took longer to drop. Kind of depends on your doctor and how your body is recovering.

  Thanks for responding! For anyone else who may come across this, my appt was very uneventful. No exam, he answered a few questions I had. Could have been a phone call really, to save me the trauma of having to go back there. Was nice to know that they care enough to have you come in person to make sure you are doing alright. Anyway, Its nothing to stress over.

  I had my 2 week followup this morning.  I had to do a pregnancy test to make sure it was negative and then my dr just asked me questions about cramping, bleeding, and how i'm holding up, just some compassionate talk.  Then we discussed going forward when we can TTC again, in which she told me after my first period since the surgery we can.  I was having a good day until this afternoon at work I started bleeding again, so frustrating but I know its part of the process in healing.  Glad to hear yours went ok and I agree, nothing to stress over.
