So, I am not a FTM, but I never had a single "tell tale sign" of labor with my first, or even a contraction to note. She ran late, I was induced, they broke my water, 30 minutes later BAM, beautiful baby girl and that's all she wrote.
Yesterday I got my first real taste of contractions and labor pains (8 weeks early) and lord have mercy! I was at the laundromat and they just came in strong out of nowhere while I was loading a dryer. I dropped what I was doing to scoop up my kids from the sitter, grab up the ol' man, and tell him to get me to the hospital!
Contractions were strong and 3 minutes apart, they gave me a pill to stop the contractions, it slowed them down and stopped me from dilating but didn't stop them completely. Now we're just waiting to see what happens. Little guy is doing great other than trying to break out early! I really really REALLY hope he makes it longer, 32 weeks is just too early and we're right in the middle of moving, horrible timing haha
This weekend is just a waiting game for us now. I guess I'm just sharing this experience for the sake of doing so, doctor already said just take it easy, drink a lot of water, and if it happens again come back in. My boobs started leaking out of nowhere today which I find odd, but I've been told that can be normal at this point anyway. Guess I'm just curious if anybody has gone through anything similar and how did it turn out for you?
