Hobby Lobby Onesies

Just wanted to share Hobby Lobby has plain baby onesies in tons of colors for $3-$4! :)

This is what I did with the onesies

Our daughter's name is going to be Violet (hence the "V")

The tulle spools were 50% off so I made some tutus.. Obviously I love all things girly ;)

Ohhhh! Those are so cute! I am assuming you made the tutu and the cute flower, Do you have a tutorial link for those?
  • Cute cute cute!
  • I love making tutus. I made an Elsa one for my dd Halloween costume this year. It is one of my prized crafts. I used so much tulle and she was the awe of so many little girls. Now i want to get my tutu on. ...

I did a Tinkerbelle tutu dress for my daughter's costume last year. It came out great, but glitter tulle is not our friend. So. Much. Glitter.

  • @cbolton19 thank you! For some reason I tried posting the links on here and it won't let me :( I searched diy fabric flower on Pinterest and it's the first pin that I used ... For the tutu I searched diy newborn tutu and it was the first pin that I used for that one as well. That pin has the measurements you need for a newborn and than you click on the link for her toddler tutu tutorial :) if you can't find it you can find me on Pinterest just search Dannielle Muehls and I pinned them both on my "here comes Violet" board :) ❤️
  • @cbolton19 this is what the pins look like :)
  • @komorebi awh so sweet ! I bet it was beautiful ! I know I just keep buying tulle colors to make every type of tutu possible lol @aah1013 omg so much glitter everywhere lol I still have it all over the house and my dog hahaha

Awesome! Thank you! Those are too cute. I was so excited to find out we were having a girl so I could put her in tutus!
  • Love that! I'm having a little boy but he's due the week of Halloween- if he gets here on time maybe I can make him a onesie costume!
  • @cbolton19 ah me too I've been making headbands galore hopefully she doesn't mind them ;) you're welcome! Post a picture of what you make if you end up making anything !! @basdenjn6 awhhh that would be so cute !! That's a good idea ! Something more comfy since they will be so little still :) I was just so happy they had plain black onesies I have had the hardest time finding them. Another cool idea I saw was to dye the white onesies whatever color you want with RIT dye since plain onesies are hard to find
  • @danniellemichellexox I will! I definitely need to start getting my crafting on! And yes, headbands is also a must!

Glitter tulle! Nobody warned me. It would not have worked without it but omg my house, car and body were covered in it. Plus it's a pain to pull through.
