Ugly Friday!

Not sure if anyone else has a Grovia cloth diaper obsession but the founder of Grovia, Kim Ormsy, is currently pregnant again. She was inspired last night to share the ugly side of her pregnancy, a picture of her varicose veins. Saying everyone likes to show off the beautiful side to things but no one likes to "keep it real" by "sharing the ugly"; and then told us we could share our "ugly" moments of pregnancy. It was inspiring!!
And many of the Grovia families group found it freeing to share their crazy pregnancy related chaos.

I have had SPD this pregnancy so my doctor recommended I get the prenatal cradle as a way to relieve the pressure feeling of someone punching me in my pubic bone. I ordered mine off eBay. It's a crazy contraption, but it helps tremendously! However, while its meant to be worn under your clothes, and is "easily hidden" under clothes. This is a lie. It is not hidden under clothes. Well it is, it doesn't cause lines or whatever, but the straps? You pretty much have to wear a turtle neck to not see it lol. I live in lovely muggy gulf coast Florida, so tank tops are the staple of the summer here.. Or sun dresses. At this point I don't care because it helps so much and I'm able to do housework without pain. But it is pretty unattractive lol
Combine that with an unclean house since I've been gone for appointments the past few days, yep. I'm a mess with a dirty house (that's getting cleaned shortly!)

Share your "ugly" with us if you feel inclined!

I have this same thing and barely wear it!! Sometimes it helps, but other times it causes me more back pain!! And I agree.... You can't wear that thing and cover it up!!
  • Cleavage pimples (along with extra face ones), some sexy belly stretch marks, arm flab, and the ever attractive cellulite on my butt and thighs. I would post pics, but really don't think my coworkers want to see me undress to take a pic ;). No wonder DH can't keep his hands off me, I am obviously a sexy beast right now (really cannot keep his hands off, I just don't get it). Lol. But hey, I am growing a human and I am damn proud of it and whatever markings I gain that mean he is growing!
  • I would post my stretch marks, too, but I don't think any of you ladies want to see my bare butt or my boobs!
Take my word for it. They're not cute!
    ;)
  • Oh lawd if I knew how to post pictures... My previous c section scar is redish purple, at least a quarter inch off my body, and widening every day. Its the most brutal scar I've ever seen in any pictures. And it's ITCHY!
Stretch marks often fade, so you have that going for you.
  • p.s. That is DEFINETLY a piece of a lollipop stuck on my tank top. LOL. Oh man...
Always hold on to hope ❤

My c-section scar is still nasty and it's been 4 years now. I've given up hope.
  • @Marissalynn0620 nice boobies tho! Rowr!! Haha. I think you all look lovely. This thread should not be 'ugly Friday.' It should be 'I feel less attractive than usual but I'm still awesome Friday.'

  • I can't seem to post any pictures, and I'm sorta glad lol! Stretch marks everywhere! Thighs, butt, belly, sides.... And my face is breaking out worse than when I was a teenager! Oh, and my nose... I swear it's bigger. What the heck is up with that?! But, on the bright side, I got my maternity photos done this weekend and somehow the dear friend that took them managed to make me look decent! :-)
  • I would share my horrific stretch marks on my thighs but that would invole showing part of my beaver! Haha or my saggy boobs the one part about being 19 n pregnant I hate is the fact my boobs have sagged so much
