so I'm a FTM I'm 19 weeks and 4 days and my daughter sits SO low! I feel all of the movement very low in my abdomen and that's also where I find the heartbeat when using my fetal Doppler. Is this normal? Where do your babies sit?
Same as everyone else, still really low but I'm also only coming up on 17 weeks. His heartbeat is found close to my pubic bone, and still playing that "is it gas/is it baby" game as far as movement goes!
I'm 20w and all the movement I feel is low. At our anatomy scan yesterday the tech said he was breech and sitting super low, which explain all the bladder kicks I'm feeling.
As @MadBloom said, there aren't many women in this board whose uterus is higher than their belly button yet. So all the babes are still sitting pretty low.

My bump still looks like a food baby!! Last ultrasound he was super low and hiding. Next week I'll be 19 weeks and hope to see some movement at our ultrasound!!
I'm 19w and while I know it's usual for the uterus just to be reaching the belly button at this point as a lady with a SUPER short torso mine already seems to have extended far above that. That being said, until yesterday most of the movement I've felt has been down low. The last night I got my first big ol kick just below my ribs. I guess baby is moving all around in there!
Hmmm...shying away from your original question a bit...but I'm 18w 4d...I've not really felt any movement...possibly a small movement, but not sure...it was really low...yesterday heartbeat was 155...so he's there...he's "healthy"...when should I expect to feel him...by the way, I'm a 2nd time mommy...I just honestly don't remember with my first. Each doctor's appointment they ask me if I've felt movement...I tell them honestly I'm not sure...they are always like it's okay....
Thank you for posting this! I was wondering about this too. I am also a FTM and when I use the Doppler, they're still down near my pubic bone. I guess I just kind of thought they'd be moving up and out of there by now!!

I just hit 18 weeks and they usually find my little dude sitting right between my pubic bone and my belly button, the little movement I have felt has all been in the same place. I have a placenta that is fundal but wraps anterior on my right side. Right above where his head has always been there is no placental covering, so every now and then if I lay really really still I can feel what I'm guessing are his little head bobs! But definitely all movement has been below the belly button!
I'm 20 weeks 4 days and I had my anatomy scan yesterday. My doctor said my baby is sitting a little high, but she is repeating a sonogram in 4 weeks to see if she needs to move my due date up, as he is really big. I do have an extremely short torso, but everyone seems to be sitting low?! Should I be worried? She didn't seem concerned; should I be?

No. If your doctor wasn't worried, you shouldn't be.
I'm due November 7th and my little girl is always head down right on top of my cervix every ultrasound that I have which is every two weeks! I was worried for awhile but my mother and sisters all carried low as well and had healthy, full-term babies. My doctor told me that this is okay and that she will eventually move up but she has yet too. My only real concern is that she is right on top of my cervix and I have an incompetent cervix but they placed a cerclage in at 14 and so far everything has been good. I have to admit that it's very uncomfortable though and often times I find myself sitting or laying down most of the day because of it.
When I feel movements, they are always down around my pelvic area. I know my uterus has expanded quite a bit because I can see the displacement (I do not normally carry weight around my ribs and waist), but for whatever reason, baby seems to like hanging out down low.
My uterus is large due to a fibroid so it is about 5-7 weeks larger than I should be at 19 weeks. But baby still hangs out between belly button and hip on one side. I feel a movement here and there but nothing constant yet. Can't wait to be able to feel him on the outside so my kids can feel it. They are so excited just waiting. Just a side note too is my dr mentioned that more babies can make you begin to carry lower. With my previous 2 babies I felt like they were kicking their way out my crotch the last months! So much discomfort. Waiting to see what this one does!
I may be weird.. Hopefully someone else out there is too. But, sometimes I feel my little chicken to the left side up near my belly button.. And other times I feel it on my right side down by my pubic bone..I didn't think they had that much room in there!! (EDIT:It cut off half of my comment) I am 18 weeks tomorrow. My uterus is pretty high for 18w also. ETA: oh! And also my daughter and SO have felt the baby move, and I have seen it... I feel crazy because it's early for all that.
Re: Does your baby sit higher or lower in your belly?
Baby: hahahahaha
All the movement I feel is super low so far.
