I think about it a lot too!! My youngest looks a lot like his older brother yet they have differences. I'm thinking this little girl will definately resemble them as well
In our 3D ultrasound ours looks identical to my husband. Same nose and lips. So much so I'm worried he's gonna come out looking like a 40 yr old man in a baby body, those photos of geriatric babies on Buzzfeed don't help My husband is black and I'm white so I'm really more psyched to see what color he is, will he be lighter or darker or a perfect golden caramel?
@klirwin82 your situation is the exact same as mine (daddy is light black and I'm white)! Even the ultrasound tech at the 4d said, "Oh yeah- he's his daddy 100%". I do wonder what shade he will be though- I'll probably be jealous of his perfect "tan!" ;-)
I had an OB appointment yesterday, where he was being trained on a new machine that has the 4d scan... but at 36 weeks, I am was too late for a good picture! My baby's head is too far down. So, we are left to wonder a little bit longer, but not too much. 3 weeks until I see that face

There's no telling with pigmentation my daughters skin seriously was white as snow until she started kindergarten now it's a golden vanilla and gets a shade or so browner in winter. Both her father and I are black ( multi generational mixture ) like many people. She has medium brown hair with golden highlights as well, her hair stayed bone straight for quite a while, now it's wavy. I couldn't care less what complexion my children end up that's not part of my standard of beauty. There's no way to know until they are older anyhow skin and hair texture and color can change at anytime children can end up lighter than, browner than or in between both parents complexions. They can even throw back to the features of a distant ancestor.
My husband and I are so curious!! I am 1/2 Mexican, brown hair brown eyes and he is Irish/Scottish, brown hair blue eyes. He also has some Scandinavian and his beard is red so everyone is like omg what if you have a red head?? Although that is highly doubtful I do wonder whose pigmentation she will take after. I take after my dad (tan) and my little bro takes after my mom (fair) so it shows anything can happen! Really anxious to see her but I know once we see her face we will be like "aha" that's what we look like mashed up!

My brother has red hair on his head and his beard is black. People ask him if he is dying his hair. Genetics are so unpredictable.
My husband has a red beard and dark brown hair haha. No other family members have any traces of red in their hair except him. It would be surprising if that trait were to pass onto this little guy. I can't even imagine having a little redhead. The thought has never occurred to me haha
@babydoll1008 i think the same thing in the 4d ultrasound i had done he looks all chunky and it looks like hes going to have dimples like his older brother im even thinking of letting his hair grow out until hes 2 like my 4 year old im so excited i just really hope he doesnt come out as big it was hard enough recovering and carrying a 10 lb the first few weeks was a mission specially since DH worked all day and only took 2 days off but i guess as long as DS2 comes out healthy ill deal with whatever comes afterwards :-/
I love how interracial babies come out lol my uncle is African (dark skin) and his wife is from Morocco their kids are drop dead gorgeous with the perfect tan... I'm light skin black-american and my husband is from Africa, he is dark skinned, our son came out to be light skinned like me
@Numajawara My Aunty Drea is British Jamaican and her children are beautiful interracial children. She has four girls and two of which have blonde curly hair with a lighter complexion. But the combo is very stunning.
My husband is light blonde with blue eyes, I have dark brown hair and eyes, and our son has sandy blonde hair and hazel eyes - he's perfectly in the middle!! For a while his hair was a reddish color like my sister but it changed over time, so funny how that happens. I definitely am wondering who this little girl is going to look like : )
Super curious and excited to see what our little guy will look like. We had our 4d pretty early so his face wasn't as chubby as it'll likely be but it looks like he might have daddy's nose. I'm Mexican American (both of my parents are from Mexico and my dad's grandfather's are both white) and my husband is white (mostly German). There are so many possibilities, I just can't wait!!
@babydoll1008 I wasn't going to do a 3d/4d US at first... But after having a dream of my LO... I'm super curious. I just scheduled an appt. I'll be 35 weeks so hopefully he won't be to squished in there, lol.
I can't wait to see either. From the 3d ultrasound I think she will look like my son. I hope she does (minus the super thick eyebrows). If she has his complexion she will be one lucky girl. He is perfectly tanned and can get darker pretty easy without burning.
I can't wait to see! My husband is half Mexican but has blue eyes and curly hair and dark skin, and I'm as white as they come with blue eyes and wavy hair. I hope our son is a little version of his daddy!
I am also super curious! I have more of an olive complexion since I'm Hispanic but my husband is Irish mixed with French and English... all of his siblings including himself were born blonde but two of them lost the blonde and turned brunette and they all kept their blue eyes. I have dark brown hair and brown eyes, so we're curious to see the mash up. I'm hoping for my complexion but hubby's eyes! We didn't do the 4D ultrasound, so we really have no idea who's traits are stronger yet.
My husband is german/Mexican. He has dark hair and hazel green eyes I'm Norwegian/German. Blue eyes, I was born with red hair, it all fell out and came back platinum blonde and I had really light hair up until high school and it started going more dirty blonde.
We both have mixed backgrounds - My DH has green eyes, sandy hair and very olive skin, I'm pale skin dark hair & eyes .... Our first came out pale with bright blue eyes :-?? And blonde hair
I'm so curious to see what this one looks like .... I was shocked my first had blue eyes
