Which brand of stroller you think that it's a perfect

hi all moms to be,
I m sorry if this question is not proper or not but just got confused with the different brands of strollers and car seat or travel systems.
If I find, there are negative reviews for each and every brand.
Which brand you took or thinking to take?. I think we should reasearch it by now so that can find the good deals by Father's Day or indepence day.
Please help with your input.

Re: Which brand of stroller you think that it's a perfect

  • We checked out a ton and spent like an hr playing in the stroller section. We did like the Chico stroller system the best. Definitely a bit expensive but have heard the customer service is fantastic if anything breaks or wears down they usually fully replace it. I also read and heard from friends they are super durable. One person said they have had a Chico passed down through 3 different babies and the wheels and everything worked great for years and years.

  • I spent forever researching strollers. I've been living in Germany and wanted something that had a basinette feature and where the seat could come out and turn around to face the parent. I ended up with a mountain buggy cosmopolitan. I love it so far (it's just sitting here haha) but it does not have adjustable handlebars. I'm super picky and it has the style I like which is why it worked for me

  • Your question is perfectly legit! We complain a fair amount but we also love cute/funny/embarrassing pregnancy stories, food, and baby gear! (And a million other things but I think it is cute you are worried about it!) :-) All brands do have negative reviews - even if you are going to buy online, head to a baby gear store and try them out. Do the handles feel comfy? Are they good height? How does it feel walking around the aisles? You will probably be able to narrow it down quite a bit and match the perfect stroller with better than average reviews.

We love our Britax B-Agile stroller! I like that it fits the B-Safe infant car seat. (We originally had a converitable rear facing in one car, and an infant car seat in the other. Believe me, after 2 years both car seats had seen enough spit up, diaper explosions, and snack spills to warrant replacing. Even with easy to clean finishes there is only so many times you can convince yourself that it is really clean.) The stroller however still looks brand new! Theme parks, flying, a couple 5ks, and still being used by a preschooler has not diminished it. It does not tip, the front wheel either locks straight for jogging or swivels free for easy movement. It handles older kids just fine because it can handle up to 55 lbs. I recommend if you get this stroller you get the stroller organizer to go with it, it makes it nice that the cup holder and extra storage is removable.

I think the Britax is a good, less expensive stroller. If you have the $$ to spend, I drool over the Stokke Xplory. It looks so amazing but I have yet to get to try one out!

    Good luck and happy shopping!
  • I'm a sucker for the silver cross travel systems. I had them both for my last pregnancies & they done me a good turn. So I will probably be looking at those again this time round.

We bought the Uppababy Cruz and are using a Nuna Pipa car seat with it! I really love both!

I bought the Uppababy Vista because I liked the versatility. The base is separate from each seat (car, bassinet, and toddler), they click in-out easily going either forward or back, it can be used as a jogger, and it folded and unfolded easily. Every time I looked at other strollers, it seemed that the store person had trouble with them.
  • We registered for the baby jogger city mini.  It was middle of the road, but very durable.  The woman at buy buy baby said it was one of her top picks, and the tires are good for all terrain.  My husband coaches lacrosse, nephew play lacrosse and baseball, niece plays soccer, so we wanted something that would work well on different surfaces.  It is very light weight also and very easy to pack up.  My MIL is older so we wanted something even she could maneuver.
  • I love my baby jogger city mini however if it's in the budget and/or you plan to have more kids get the city select. It can convert to a double. I wish I would have gotten it originally because now I can't afford it.
  • Bogaboo is #1 brand for ages !!!!
It's also the most expensive brand. But if you can afford it go for it or find used in a good condition as I did.
I did not search any strollers available in market.
Bogaboo is no. 1 for sooooo long. And there is a reason why they are the most expensive strollers in market.
You get what you pay for - old saying .
Don't even search anymore, cause it's waist of time.

Completely disagree. Not that it isnt a great stroller - I am sure it is. But I feel like I am missing nothing with the strollers we have chosen.

You need to find what fits your lifestyle. We dont have a jogging stroller because if I run  - its to be alone. So it doesnt make sense.
My favorite? I LOVE my Joovy Kooper (style now discontinued but it is to me, the perfect lightweight stroller -  huge sunshade, lays flat, great size basket, easy to fold/unfold, lightweight)

I really dont think you need to spend hundreds to thousand(s) to get a perfect stroller. That is silly.

Some negative reviews may be because they received defective product or the stroller didn't fit their preferences. The best thing you can do is go to a store and test out the floor models.

Things I personally like: large storage basket and ease in folding. I like one that is easy to push on rougher terrain and easy to turn corners (a jogging stroller I tried didn't have a swivel on the front wheel so it couldn't even turn). It also needs a canopy for sun protection. I also like ones that recline far back for small babies or sleepyheads.

Right now I have a Combi side-by-side double stroller. I had a tandem stroller and hated it because it felt weak in the center where the seats met. For my Combi I have a basket under each seat, zip bags behind each seat to store sunblock and stuff, canopy over each seat, each seat reclines and it does fold easy for storage. It has a cup holder for me, too. Found it on Zulily.

I see Joovy Kooper for sale on Amazon! They do say discontinued so it's probably the last of their stock.

  • I have a Graco traditional stroller... Not even sure the model, the one that comes with the classic connect travel system. It folds up easily, is pretty rugged (mostly I just use it for walks around home, but the sidewalks are terrible so we go through a little "rough terrain" haha!), and the price was right. It just depends on your needs - a stroller wasn't a huge contemplation for me because it's not something I used a ton with baby #1. Others research and get the top of the line or invest in a jogging stroller, which is what suits their particular needs. But a general stroller from Target or Walmart can be fine - just see if you can test it out to see ease of collapsing/setting up - that's one thing that can be a huge annoyance if it's not user-friendly!

With my first I did a ton of research. I knew that I wanted a bassinet attachment since I do a lot of walking straight from the house. I wanted something all-terrain because I walk over a variety of surfaces and I walk about 3 miles a day to the park or around the neighborhood for exercise. I didn't like the look or want a travel system.

I chose a Bumbleride Indie and we loved it so much that when no. 2 came along, we got the Indie twin. It's amazing!
  • At first I wanted the Bugaboo, but then I realized, exactly how long is the baby going to use a stroller?  At best, until your child reaches the weight limit.  I feel like there are plenty of great strollers without buying the most expensive one on the market.  @KERJF  I agree with you.  Buy a stroller that fits your needs.  I have chosen the Chicco system.  I  think it will fit my needs perfectly.
  • I decided to go with the Urbini. It has really good reviews and has been compared to the Britax but it's cheaper.

We were originally looking at bugaboo but salesman at Buy buy baby said you are simply paying for the name. He said it has a small basket and no way to view baby when they are in seat. He recommended uppa baby vista or cruz and we ultimately went with that. I really love the versatility. It's lightweight, easy to fold, has a huge basket and adapts with many car seats. No regret in choosing it! Test a few out and see which fits your needs!
  • I went with the bumbleride indie 4 based on consumer reports.
  • We love our BOB strollers. We have a single and double. We used the Chicco adapter and the infant seat snaps right in. We have found them worth the money even though very expensive.

We just bought the Chicco Bravo Trio and I think it's going to be great! It moves great, it folds super easy and is really light and compact when folded down. It's also self standing when folded. You can remove the seat to just make it a carseat carrier. It can fully recline when you use the seat. The handle bar is adjustable so I, at 5'4", can comdortably use it and then pass it to my 6’4” husband. There is a good amount of storage and it can be used up to 55 poubds. It comes with the chicco key fit carseat and base. The key fit carseat has a larger visor than previous key fit models. I've also heard customer service is awesome. I called them today with a question and I didn't have a hold time longer than just a few seconds.

    Edited to add more information.

The Uppa Baby Vista is amazing! Rated better than Bugaboo and it was a dream with my son. Can't wait to use it with my daughter.
  • For me, what fit in the trunk of my sedan was really important. I even bought a stroller, assembled it, and then couldn't get it in my trunk (double). I ended up with the combi and like it, but if I could do it all over again I would get the City Select stroller or the Britax B Agile. Both can add a second seat to the original frame.
  • I'm going with the Chicco Keyfit 30 because it has the best reviews and will hold the baby for a while at least (I hope) and a City Select Stroller so when we have our second child I can buy the attachment instead of another stroller.

    :) Hope that Helps

  • Uppababy vista!!
  • We went with the Eddie Bauer quad trek it's got a huge basket underneath and I love everything about it!
  • We got the city select by baby jogger and went with the peg perego 4-35 for the car seat. (We are in canada)
  • I went with a Graco Modes, I was also looking at the chicco bravo but it doesn't have a cup holder for the when he is a toddler and I felt like that might be important.

  • We just ordered the Briax B-Ready! I was torn between the Uppababy and the B-ready. Ive found that the Britax has more room for baby #2 and that was very important to me! And nice that it was about 300$ cheaper. My sister's has lasted her over 4 years and two babies, and its in perfect condtition!
There was a good You-tube video on comparing the City Select, Britax B-Ready, and the Uppababy Vista! Its nice to see them all side by side!
  • I just found a wonderful lightweight stroller I'm going to get. It's a summer infant 3d flip and it can forward face or rear face with a switch. It's only $130 most places so I'm excited for it.

Ahhh I had this and HATED it! I even made them send me a replacement because it wouldn't steer correctly and HATED the replacement. :((

I went to Buy Buy Baby and 2 sales people strongly recommended Uppa Baby. I am just curious if there is a reason other than it being a good one. It's pretty expensive. I like that you can add another kid to it if you have your kids one after the other. I like that it has a bassinet. I haven't seen many strollers that do that. I don't like that you have to pay extra for adjustments if you go with a car seat that isn't their brand.

So one of the main reasons I love it is because it is very light weight and functional. I did find it to be more pricey, however I don't have any regrets in buying it. I would not choose their car seat though. It's too small. Your baby will outgrow it pretty quickly. We bought the Nuna pipa car seat and purchased adapters. It seems to work well. I have talked to many others mothers who use thus stroller and everyone loves it!
  • I love my Britax B-Agile, but I now wish I had gotten the B-Ready because I'm pretty sure it can add a frame for a second seat, not the B-Agile.

We got a Joovy caboose to act as a double with baby two. I have it all set up, and am looking forward to testing it out! The big selling point was the size, how it folds down, and that it's compatible with our Britax B-Safe carseat.
