Pre-induction light dinner suggestion?

I'm being induced tomorrow, but going into the hospital tonight at 9 for cervix prep. Doctor told me to eat a light dinner, any suggestions? If you've been down this road before, what did you eat that was light yet filling? My pregnancy hunger is already dreading the thought of this being my "last meal" for however long until baby's here. Thanks in advance!

  • Same situation- we went to chili's & I got a chicken flatbread. Made sure there was no jalapeños on it though!!! No spicy!!

  • I ate a TON the night before the cutoff time and I was still hungry during labor. Not saying you should ignore dr's orders but don't go too light.!
  • At my last appointment I was told me to eat once labor starts. I asked her what to eat and she suggested high carb and protein, stay low in fat. Then she shared that she ate an entire pizza when when she went into labor and ended up barfing it all. Haha, that actually helped me remember what she told me.
  • With my first I had a nice good Chinese dinner haha and it was amazing lfmao and it took 17hrs before I had a csection lol
  • I was in labor all day when I was induced. I would eat normal and sneak some snacks. I evil eyed husband when he ate lunch that day lol.
  • Eat while you can! My water broke but no labor started I took the time to enjoy one last meal before going in because you will feel starved!
  • I was told toast and juice for my induction.
