Girl name tiebreaker

We're down to two different names for this little one. Our first daughter is Kaylee Anne. The first one we would be pronouncing 'aa-la' not 'eye-la'. Husband says pick whichever one I want so he's no help!

Would have voted Ayla if it was "aye-la" lol... Wasn't sure if that's what "aa-la" was or if it was "ah-la". I think I'm confusing myself

  • So you mean Ayla like Isla?  I would like better if you spelled it Isla. Otherwise, I vote Mira.

  • The first one is too hard to decide how it's supposed to be pronounced, so I voted for Mira.
  • I voted Mira. I think Ayla and Kaylee are too similar. I think I would end up saying Kayla all the time.

  • No one will ever be able to guess how to pronounce Ayla the way you want, unless you actually spell it Ahla. Are you up for a lifetime of correcting people?

And it's quite similar to Kaylee.

    I'm no help. I like aye-la
  • Of the two I would pick Mira.
