Hello mamas, I work as an interior designer. My boss wants me to do a walk through with a new drapery company soon, it's at least a 3 hour walk through to let him know where we want draperies, the style, etc. It is currently between 111-114 degrees outside (Arizona) and the house is only has frames so there is NO air conditioning. I'm 23 weeks pregnant. Is this do able or should I talk to my boss about my concerns? By the way, we already had someone measure this house but she wants to try a new company just to "see where their pricing compares". I've worked here for 2 years and this is the first time we are exploring other options for drapery. Why now?!?

Re: Work vent...advice?
I've never heard of anyone not having a/c here. We don't have snow days but instead we have heat advisory days! If the a/c goes out at work or school in the summer, we are typically sent home because it can get dangerous. I will definitely bring LOTS of water. Especially since this house doesn't have a roof yet, the sun will be pouring in. Thanks ladies!
Geez where in Caifornia did you live? I feel your pain! I usually go to California to get a little break from the summer heat here. I am actually going to New England in a week! I've never been in the summer, but I was told to bring a light sweater.
