Spotting at 33 weeks

I just noticed a few little spots of blood after going to the bathroom. Anyone else experience this? Was your doctor concerned? I already have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow, so I plan to tell my doctor about it. Feeling paranoid.

    Yes. I more than spotting. 2 times in one week. It was bright red and yes he was concerned. I had to have 2 pelvic exams and an ultrasound. They found nothing. He did see two very large veins in my labia. He thought those were bleeding

    Are you sure it's vaginal and not rectal? Glad you're going in tomorrow just to check things out. He said they take third trimsteet bleeding very serious.

    Yes, it's definitely vaginal. I remember having some spotting with my first pregnancy but it was in the first trimester and I don't remember it being a big deal.

    Can you call an after hours number at your doctor's office to speak with a nurse to help ease your mind tonight?

    I agree. Any bleeding in the 3rd trimester warrants a call IMO. That is what they are there for! FXFY that it is nothing.

    I am 33 weeks on Friday. I had spotting last week and it was nothing. LO is head down and just low. OB did an exam and all is fine. She said to take it easy. Good luck!

    Yes. I called at night both times. He told me if it got worse go to l&d if not come in first thing jn the morning. I'm sure it's nothing. I was just concerned with placental abruption.

    I didn't have anymore spotting last night, if I had I planned on calling or if there was any pain. I have been avoiding sex like its the plague, so it's definitely not that. I'll see my dr in a few hours and hopefully everything will be all good. Thanks for all the feedback.

    Dr did as "gentle" an exam as he could and I'm not even a centimeter dilated. First question was had I had intercourse recently... Nope! Anyway, he said could be the cervix rubbing causing a little spotting. As long as the spotting has stopped and there is no pain or contractions nothing to worry about. Yay!
