I've been having a hard time being ok with all the changes to my body after delivery. I'm only 2 weeks out so I know things will likely improve from here, but even so, there are some days when I'm not super kind to myself, despite my best efforts. Today was one of those days, and tonight I came across this post on Facebook. I really needed this today, and I'm reposting it here in case some of you need it too!

Re: body positivity postpartum
There's this photographer I follow on Instagram, Ashlee Wells Jackson, she's part of the 4th Trimester Bodies Project. She specializes in photographing women postpartum and sharing their birth stories. The project shows a wide variety of women of all different types. These photographs and the stories are empowering, heartbreaking and inspiring! It sends a powerful message about motherhood and body image.
If I'm ever in Chicago or if they ever end up in my area I would love to participate.
Here's a link to the project

This is one of the stories that really touched me. https://4thtrimesterbodies.com/nicole-korsakas/
...and here's one of the many photos of the project.
@CillyMama I've heard of the 4th trimester bodies project! Seeing stuff like that is definitely helpful. I've never had problems with body image before and I'm glad this mommy body positivity stuff is fairly easy to find!
