Yolk sac measurements

Today I had an ultrasound dating 5w 6d.. My yolk sac is measuring at 6.5mm and gestational at 15.2mm

Is this normal? I am sooo worried.. A friend told me this happened to her both pregnancies with sets of twins..

Any suggestions or advice?
I'm a worry wart for my baby

I'm not sure what they're supposed to measure honestly. But the yolk sac has to be smaller than the gestational sac, because the yolk sac is inside the gestational sac. I believe the size of the gestational sac is what they use to estimate your dating until the fetal pole/fetus is visible.

I had my first ultrasound at 5 weeks 5 days and was really hoping to see the fetal pole and heartbeat, but didn't yet. I go back in a week.

How far along should you be according to your lmp? What did your doctor say about these results? I had my ultrasound at 6w3d and saw a sac but only measured 5w3d so I have to go back in 2 weeks and hopefully see baby then!

Going to the drs today to make sure everything is ok.. Cause google says anything over 6mm is inevitable miscarriage so my heart is racing a million miles an hour..
I'll keep you all posted on what the drs say..
My lmp date ishould be 8 weeks but I know when I ovulated and that was the 8th of may.. So 6 weeks today by ovulation date and ultrasound.. Just concerned about the yolk sac being a little over sized.. Had a friend tell me possible momo twins but I thought you need two yolk sacs for that..

***update***

Took my ultrasound to the drs and she said it is a little oversized but nothing to be worried about.. Said it could be possible it could be what they call "momo" twins but very rare.. Just booked in for 12 week scan so hopefully everything goes well..

So do I.. Another 6 weeks to go of this waiting and wondering game..
Been cramping a bit today and back pain, just took panadole isn't painful just uncomfortable.. Trying to take it easy but hard when you already have 2 children running around..
