Preparing body for birth

Do you know any stretches or exercises that helped with you labor and birth??

  • Tailor sitting, cat stretches, kegals, squats, and lunges.

  • If you're on Pinterest there is a lot about yoga stretches and body weight stuff that is supposed to help

    Yoga! Anything to stretch your pelvis and hips.

    Ps my prenatal yoga instructor suggests using Cat Cow when your laboring to help with back pain/contractions.
  • This is in the yoga video that I've been doing every day. It gets easier but it's hard to balance sometimes! :)

  • Quote fail...sorry. Another thing that I heard is that it's really beneficial to sit on the floor and do the Baddha Konasana pose. I sit like that a lot because it helps to stretch the pelvic muscles.

    Yessss I totally love the Baddha Konasana pose as well. It's awesome. Esp when you have something straight to lean your back against
