So this morning I had a message from my OB saying that some antibodies were present in my blood work.  I am 8 weeks today.  The antibodies identified were Anti-S and Anti-E.  I called my OB back to get further information because they wanted me to see this Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist, so of course I freaked out initially.  I think that's quite normal for anyone to get scared.
I talked to the nurse but she had not yet been able to talk to the OB today, so I may have to wait until Tuesday to find out further information.
She did not feel comfortable discussing it without talking to my OB first, apparently this kind is more rare.
I already have an appt with the specialist at 11 weeks, and I am trying my best not to worry.  Has anyone else experienced any of this? FTM here and really just scared... I have had several complications over the years (HPV, countless abnormal paps, LEEP) I am just ready for me being 'abnormal' to be over.
Sorry for whining..

Re: Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist
My MFM moved to Akron, so I'll be seeing a new one, at a brand new hospital. I'm nervous, but confident in knowing that I can rely on my other doctors for consultations during this third pregnancy of mine.
The specialist will be able to answer all of your questions.
