anyone else having an issue when it comes to eating meat? It doesn't matter what kind I'll start to cook and the smell alone grosses me out to the point where I can't eat the meal I've made. Ugh I swear this kid is gonna be made of carbs
Yes, it was mainly chicken for me with my last pregnancy but this time it's pretty much all meat! I am really enjoying cheese, fruits, veggies and nuts right now, which I suppose isn't too terrible
Omg I thought I was alone in my dislike for meat currently! I got so emotional over the idea of having to eat chicken the other night. Meat is definitely not a friendly for me right now
I laughed when I saw this---so far, I am craving meat (especially bacon). But last time I could not stand meat, especially chicken. I couldn't look at chicken, think about chicken, see chicken on a menu or on pinterest without gagging for 9 months. Literally a few days after I delivered the aversion was completely gone. It was crazy!
I wonder what it is. I've had many friends who couldnt eat meat during their pregnancies when they previously loved it. I'm a vegetarian so don't have the eating It problem part but, I was not grossed out by it before. Now I can't even look at it.
This was me last pregnancy, so far I haven't developed the same aversion but its still early. Luckily it went away after the first tri was over last time, but for a couple months I couldn't even buy lunch meat at the store without it grossing me out. My DH had no meat for his sandwiches for teh whole first tri ha ha ha.
Most definitely raw chicken! I just started having an aversion to it yesterday. Went to get it out of the fridge for dinner and gagged uncontrollably. I think it's just the sliminess. Yuck!
I didn't cook at all during my first pregnancy due to this. DH cooked or we ate out. Unfortunately, that is not an option. I cook but then I have no desire to eat what I just cooked.
My main issue is with chicken, but now it seems pork is also a problem since I have a big package of pork chops if my fridge and I cannot will myself to open that thing to separate it and freeze it. My sister is coming over tonight and I'm making her do it.
I could barely eat meat when I was pregnant with DD. Trying to cook chicken was torture. I'm pretty sure my son lived off peanut butter and jelly. Sometimes DH would try to cook but then I would gag to get away from the smell. It sucked!

Last night I had a huge steak and it was AMAZING. Pretty sure I inhaled it.
