  I think it should read: "I was supposed to have a sweep today, however my MW said that she couldn't do it because my cervix was too far back.  Does this mean she is not ready to arrive?

  
  

  
  

  I'm on maternity leave without a baby yet, so I am cranky and bored.  But seriously, OP, if we can't understand your question, how do you expect an answer?  I apologize in advance if English was not your first language.  

  
  

  Also, this sounds like a question best addressed by your midwife. If your cervix is posterior and closed, she would A) have a hard time reaching up into your cervix and it is closed, so she can't fit a finger in there.  Just be patient!

  There has been SO many discussions on membrane sweeps, we also have a weekly appointments board, might want to check those out.
