Bleeding three weeks post d&c

its not like a constant bleed like a period I'll go a couple days with nothing and then have a day with red blood and then have brown discharge then nothing again, wouldn't be so concerned if it looked like old blood, I just want to heal and start feeling human again, I've not had any cramping since about week and a half post op but obviously the bleeding still is still annoying, was told should stop 7-10 days after? But then told by a different professional could be 3-14 days until it should stop? Advice please

Updated: could it be my period? Just a thought, when did your periods come back? I'd is it normal to get it back three weeks after?

    If you are still seeing some red blood, I would call the doctor. Everyone is different obviously, but 3 weeks out I would say you shouldn't be seeing red. My bleeding turned to brown spotting about 4 days after my d&c then stopped at 2 weeks right as my OPK showed I was ovulating. Better to call and be safe than let a potential issue drag on longer. As if the loss isn't enough, the aftermath of 'getting back to normal' sucks.
