Please help! Trying to wean

Hi ladies! It's been forever since I've been here but I felt like this was a safe place rather than posting to those judgey fb mom boards. So here it goes..
I'm desperate to stop breastfeeding. baby turned a year old on 5/28. He was ebf for about 7 months when we started introducing food. He's never taken a bottle. I've tried pumping and even every type of formula and he's always refused.
We give him cups of milk (cows milk and breast and toddler formula) and he'll nibble on it but won't really drink. He's been without me 2xs one for 8 hours one for 12.
I'm desperate to end breastfeeding. I'm exhausted. Completely and utterly exhausted. Our original goal was only6 months and we more than doubled it. I miss sleep. I miss one on one time with my oldest. I miss date nights since those are non existent because no one wants to watch him because he won't take a cup or bottle.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks mamas.

    I'm a lurker but I thought I'd chime in. My DD turned one on 5/29 so our babies are almost exactly the same age. She does take a bottle though as she's had to at daycare but she would only take pumped milk in it. Once she turned one we started introducing cow's milk. She will NOT take the cow's milk in a bottle because she associates it with breast milk/nursing which her doctor said is normal. We had to try a bunch of different sippy cups to find one she liked enough to drink the cow's milk out of and even then it was slow going. Now several weeks later she seems to have gotten the hang of it and has drastically cut down on how often she wants to breastfeed. We're down to once a day just before bedtime.
    I guess my advice is to try out a bunch of cups to find one that he is most comfortable. You mentioned you have an older child - would the cup he/she drinks out of work for your baby? I noticed very quickly that my DD wants what my older DD has, and the second I gave her the same cup she was all about it.
