I will be 33 weeks Monday, and I almost went into labor Wednesday morning. Why? Because of a really bad yeast infection which was apparently agitating my cervix. I'm already effacing, but the doctor says that once the treatment's over and the infection's gone, things should get back to semi-normal. However, I'm still on limited activity and pelvic rest. This is my first baby, and it's safe to say I'm a bit freaked about her coming too early.
Have any of you had this problem? Will being un-infected really reverse all this? And just how bad is having a baby at 33 weeks or a little later?

I had 4 with DS and went into labor 2 days after his EDD. I never once heard about going into early labor because of it.
