Today I asked my obgyn office for diclegis which was recommended by a friend. I have lost 8 lbs in 4 weeks and I'm miserable. They said it's not on Kaiser's approved list and told me it was the same thing as unisom + b6 and to take that instead. Has anyone ever tried taking unisom during the day? I'm afraid it will knock me out. I understand diclegis is time released so it works ok during the day without the sleepiness. To be honest I'm more than bummed because I feel like they gave me a useless solution as I sit her trying to choke down saltines.

Happy Birthday Month to Me!
Re: Unisom vs Diclegis, please help me understand
Maybe try just the one dose before you go to bed and see if it's enough?
It makes a world of difference. I have only taken it during the day once and it kind of did make me sleepy but sleepy is not as big of a problem as feeling pukey.
Now, I still can't eat like normal, but hey, at least I don't feel terrible and can get through the day.
What about zofran? I know many women who took it daily all of first tri or longer.

I had my doubts about unisom but it really helped!
