My husband and I were so excited when we found out and wanted to share with our parents. I thought I was more clear about not wanting it announced...BUT my husband and my father can't keep it to themselves and seem to be telling more and more people every day! I don't think they understand the fears I have, especially since my first appointment is not until later this week. Has this happened to anyone else?
Re: Big mouths
Upon strict orders not to tell anyone yet, my mother told my aunt (her sister) and my aunt's boyfriend. Who, BTW, she barely speaks to and does nothing but complain to me about how horrible they are to her. Yeah. Those are great people to share this secret news with.

We want to tell our parents first but are waiting until after our 1st appointment this Thursday. I'm not worried about MIL at all, it's my mom I'm worried about. I get my excitement from her and this will be her first grandchild so there's no telling if she will tell anyone or not -she probably won't but there's a tiny part of me that is bracing for it, just in case.
