I gained several pounds between 24 and 28 weeks also! For seemingly no reason. When I had my u/s a couple of days later the baby had gained close to 2 lbs though..,
Don't worry about the number it's all about how you feel. I feel like I gained weight as soon as I found out. I'm 4"11 too. I used to be tiny but my body has changed a lot to support this belly. If you stayed the same weight you were at and carried this baby you'd probably topple over. Don't stress. We are almost done, then you can get your fitness on.
I guess I am the only one that assumed it was your weight! I KNOW I've gained this month. My appointment is next week, along with my GD test. Guess I should lay off the sour patch kids!
Same! I knew you were talking about weight because I thought the same when I found out I gained TWELVE pounds in a month! I didn't tell her on time that I didn't even want to before she said 'well this can't be right' ...I just about cried!
But it's okay! I have a big, healthy baby & I'm hoping I have a lot of water weight that breastfeeding will help with! Just 2 1/2 more months left!
I gained 8 pounds in the month, 23 overall. My doctor told me I can only gain 2 pounds this month. Had my glucose test today, hoping my results come back good.
Its so weird how we gain weight during pregnancy. Ive only gained 8 pounds total so far and im 27 weeks. Im not even trying to keep the weight down. Well i dont want to gain too much but im not making any effort to keep it off. With my first i gained 60 pounds most of it toward the end. It felt like i was gaining weight just by breathing. I really hope i dont start packing the pounds on though. They become so hard to get rid of later and i wasnt thin to begin with.
I'm 5'2 and that happened to me at my last visit. Usually I'd go up a pound to 3 lbs. Last visit I put on 9. And did nothing different than the previous months.
Haha so glad I wasn't the only one who opened this thinking you already had a 9lb baby! I gained 10 pounds between my last two appointments too and know how horrifying it is! Especially when you are still trying to eat well and exercise, it's frustrating! My doctor made me cry, told me I was getting too heavy and essentially put me on a diet and told me not to gain another pound. Ugh pregnancy is so fun!
Lol i've gained over 30 already, and i'll be 27 weeks Thursday. My doctor must think it's okay, but i'm worried about my glucose test that i'll be taking this week also! Now we all just guess how much weigh i'll gain everytime I go, just to make it less hurtful to my feelings.
Re: OMG just had my 28 week apt... 9 lbs!!!??
