Father's Day

So, what is everyone doing or getting their SO for Father's Day? Our little is only 2, so his ideas so far have been to get Dad a dinosaur, a dog (um, no thanks!) and an ice cream cone (totally doing that). But I need a little more than going out for an ice cream cone! For some reason my hormones are majorly out of control and every time I think about Father's Day I start to cry.... I need help! Lol I feel like I'm going crazy! 8-}

DD1 is only one, so we'll likely get him or make him a card and get him some of his favorite beer and some kind of small gift. He wants a $600 smoker for Christmas, so he doesn't want much for Father's Day other than spending the day going for a hike and having a good dinner at home.

He got a hat that he wanted, but that's all he's getting. We are taking a road trip home so that's part of his gift too.

I gave him a great (read-expensive) birthday present so it is counting towards Father's Day! I'll get him a card from the 1 year old too.

Sadly, DH works on Father's Day but I am still giving him the fish cleaning table he wants (I know! Horrible! But it's what he wants...) and I'm making him his favorite dinner: honey garlic chicken with white rice and steamed broccoli. I also got him a surprise little gender neutral Miami Hurricanes onesie. I know he will LOVE it and will probably end up being baby's take-home outfit.

I'll try to involve DS in a craft of some kind... maybe he can finger paint something for him. I haven't thought about it much because I've been sick and not feeling well because of this pregnancy.

Which is lame because I love being creative! At least I have the rest of the week?

We will probably do some sort of craft! We recently got family pictures done so I also got him a picture mouse pad for his office. I Got my dad a picture I love grandpa mug and my fil a calendar magnet with los picture in it.

I got my DH a set of spice rubs for grilling. This is our first so I was just gonna surprise him with a Father's Day gift :x

I found a couple local ladies who make custom gifts - I had a grilling spatula made and also am having a lady customize a hammer that says "dad, I can't wait to build memories with you" - my husband is a handy man so I figured he'd get a lot of use out of it.
