Re: 9 more weeks left

  • My husband and I almost had panic attacks last night after putting our 8 yr olds to bed. My husband laughed and said, "Just think... We'll have a newborn all over again." Then it hit us.... 6 more weeks and holy crap.. We'll have a newborn! Lol

  • I feel so filled with countdowns lately. Weeks until my shower, weeks to my next doctor apt, weeks left at work and most exciting of course is to meet baby.
  • I have 11 more weeks to go and i feel time is flying by. She's our first little one and i feel were no where near ready, im more nervous about giving birth and praying everything goes fine
  • I'm with you, I've got 10 weeks left and although I can't wait to meet my little princess, panic attacks are setting in with the fear of giving birth
  • I have 8 weeks left and I'm so excited for my little boy to come !! Although the thought of labor is becoming more of reality everyday since I'm going to be a FTM lol and it's still so surreal that theirs a human inside of me! @-) it's so crazy !

7 more weeks until my rcs. I feel like I'm I'm prepared until I really start really thinking about everything I still need to do. Crib, monitors, changing table, etc are set up. But I don't hardly have any clothes for her, I still need to order my pump from insurance and I wanted to deep clean the house before she gets here. The more I think about it though, I think I'm going to hire a service to come clean (groupon, here I come)

This week I start my twice a week NSTs, plus every other week ob appt and the weeks I don't have an ob appt I have an appt with my diatician. DD started dance class this past weekend, swimming class that are twice a week start in two more weeks, her bday, and I have to get all her school shopping done before baby gets here because she starts school a week after baby is here and I know I'm not going to be able to go shopping with her then. I'm exhausted just thinking about it all

  • 9 weeks left as of yesterday and I am so excited!  We had our childbirthing class over the weekend and it was pretty good (more informative for my hubby than for me, lol).  I think we're mostly ready too!  We have all the big ticket items (crib, bassinet, stroller, car seat, diapers, some clothes)... now all we need is baby to arrive :)

I also feel like we're counting down everything!  Next appointment in 2 1/2 weeks, baby shower in a month, then weekly appointments until baby is here.  Let's go August mommas!  On the home stretch now, we can do it!
  • Every time I think of how close I am to being done I start to panic and have to relax myself! I'm so afraid!!

This exactly. I'm a STM but I think I'm more afraid this time around than I was with my first
  • 7 weeks 3 days to go!! I'm so excited that these next couple weeks are filled with things to do. Get my bedroom ready (he's staying in my room) my grandparents are coming from Dominican Republic, Fourth of July weekend, my baby shower, getting organized after baby shower :D
  • I'm not so scared of L&D as I am of bringing baby home and taking care of a tiny infant and official motherhood. Holy crap.

8 wks to go, but I have a feeling she'll be here in 5 (hopefully no less then that). Luckily, we got the huge baby shower out of the way, so now I'm washing her clothes, renovating one of the guest bedrooms into her nursery, and setting up her bassinet in our room. Excited and terrified at the same time!

Ok so I'm not alone! It's been 3 years since I had a newborn of my own. This one is a boy, people tell me boys are easier! I'm not convinced! 10 weeks and 2 day count down, scheduled c-section won't have a choice but to be ready. Lol, I guess I knew what I was getting into X_X
  • It's been 3 years since our daughter was born and my husband and I have said multiple times that we feel like we've forgotten everything about taking care of a newborn!  I was chatting with a friend the other day and she said "The way you talk, you'd think you never had children!"  But I'm seriously getting scared of the idea of a newborn all over again, I'm just realizing how independent our toddler really is and thinking about how completely dependent baby will be!
  • DS is 4 and I feel like I've forgotten everything I ever knew about taking care of a newborn too. Everyone keeps telling me it will all come back to me when he gets here so hopefully they are right
  • I'm so excited! I have 9 weeks left and I've been in serious nesting mode all evening! I put all the stuff in the dresser including extra wipes and diapers and creams, socks, clothes, sheets, etc. I'm exhausted but I still have so much more I want to do! Lol
