Feeling real

The two test I've taken showed a really dark line and a second faint line. Other than "cramps" I have yet to feel anything to make being pregnant seem real. According to my best friend I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow so she said it's still early, but I wish I felt something. You know? Definitely don't want to experience morning sickness, but something would be nice. I've been told that your first Dr appointment isn't usually until 8-9 weeks so it's a waiting game I guess and it sucks.

Positive is a positive, faint line or dark. So congrats, it should start feeling real soon :)

  • It didn't feel real to me last time until I could feel my daughter move at 18 weeks last time. Give it a little time; it'll feel all too real soon enough :)

Agreed that you probably O'ed later than usual. That happened to me this cycle, but I was charting and temping, so I KNOW I o'ed late. I usually O on Day 16, and you can see that my body tried to around then, but I got my wisdom tooth out and was on pain meds and it was too much stress on my body, so it delayed O. We went camping the weekend that I did and I wasn't able to take my temp, so I'm assuming O happened on day 26: 5/16. FF never saw a spike, so it can't detect O, but I must've! Honestly, I find this month's chart so interesting. *NERD ALERT*

ETA: So if I wasn't temping and charting, my Dr would think I was 2 weeks more pregnant than I am, which can be dangerous for calculating due dates. (Ex: They might push for a c-section cuz I'm "2 weeks late" when really, I'm approaching my real due date)

  • The way my best friend told me to get a rough guess of my due date was to find out when the first day of my last period was which was 4/27/15. She went online and used a conception date calculator to figure out we conceived somewhere in the week of May 11-15 with a due date of Feb 1 2016 give or take. We weren't really trying, but we weren't doing anything to prevent pregnancy either so I wasn't keeping track of when I was truly ovulating. According to an app I use to help track my periods... It showed me ovulating on 5/13, but I honestly couldn't tell you if I did or not.
  • Thanks for the congrats. :)
